I woke up with a sudden surge of pain in my heart. I clenched my eyes shut to control that pain but it was increasing with every second. I quickly stood up from my bed and checked my body but there wasn't any sign of injury or anything.
"What is wrong with my heart then?" I asked myself, but then I heard a muffled cry. My eyes widened in realization. It means my mate is in pain.
