Chapter 49: Martyr Honor Ceremony

I fixed my shirt and looked in the mirror, Satisfied with my dress, I moved towards the door. Today is the Honor Ceremony of the Martyrs who sacrificed their lives for us. We will never forget their sacrifice and I decided to support their families after them. I know they all have families but, They didn’t think about them twice before jumping into the warzone. I headed downstairs where all the members of my palace were waiting for my arrival.
I looked toward Leona, Reymond, and Christine. They were really looking like leaders and I felt a small pride in my heart by looking at their confident demeanor. We all wore black dresses and have a bouquet of flowers in our hands. As soon I stepped on the last step, Their eyes turned towards me.
