When we crossed the border of the vampire kingdom, my palms turned sweaty. I was doing all the things to calm myself down but my heart was beating like a drum.
‘Relax Princess! I promise we will mean no harm to you. We will not bite you…except your mate,” Leona said with a smile and winked at me and I flashed a nervous smile in response but didn’t say anything else. After a few moments, our carriage halted and I smelled the alluring fragrance of my mate’s cologne. It helped a bit to calm my nerves, but when the door of my carriage opened, my heartbeat increased. I looked at him and my heart missed a beat. He looked so powerful and handsome that I wanted to nothing but to run into his arms.
