Chapter 7

"So, now that little Birdy is full, and we are caught up with what happened, what's the game plan for the night?" Mar asks as she grabs my bowl and heads to the kitchen. After two bowls of soup (don't judge me), my stomach was about to explode on me. I looked to my left and the twins were talking about their boyfriends. I looked to my right with Mandy and V were close together talking about work. Man, if they weren't platonic soulmates, I'd ship it (even if V is married with kids haha). Mary comes back and sits down. "Have you decided yet?"

"I feel like going back home and listening to sad songs all night," I say while looking at the table.

"Well, not tonight, little one. That girl messed with you and messed with your night just for fun. I may not be a teenager anymore, but that doesn't mean I don't know a big asshole when I see one. If only I could age back a bit for an hour I could help," Mar says. Mandy looks at her with a smirk.

"Mar, if you go back, you'll be too busy asking weird questions and asking for me to help you with homework. We went to school together, remember? And you, as well V, wouldv'e been stuck with us as well as we have been since we were tweens," said Mansy. All 3 women laughed. They have been like sisters since middle school and still act childish in their 30s.

"Anyway, back to the topic at hand. You gotta get revenge or else she'll walk all over you until graduation day. So, what's the plan, double trouble?" V asked the twins. Mads and Sky stood up and stood in front of the table, which got the attention of other customers for a couple of seconds before going back to eating. Most of the people here are used to them being like this.

"First, we gonna embarrass Jenny and all her little friends who tried to turn Birdy into a human towel," I winced a bit at why Sky says about me being a towel. Sky then gives the floor for Mads to finish their "plan".

"It will be a night to remember, with Jenny's defeat and our, well, Birdy's, redemption. So, you in with us Berta? And remember, you don't really have a choice in this. The bastard deserves what she gets." Mads then puts her hand out for me to grab. Not really having an option, I grabbed it and stood in between them.

"I am not fully convinced that we should do anything, but screw it. Let's have some fun tonight," I say as I bend down to grab my cup of orange soda. Everyone else grabs their drinks and we all cheer.

"That's good and all, but please try and not get in trouble or arrested. I'm too attractive to be walking into a police station. I'll get too much attention," Mandy says while flipping her invisible hair back. Mary starts to laugh and gets up from her spot to pat Mandy on the back.

"Good one Mandy. The only reason you'll get their attention is that your hair is a mystery itself. Now, I should get back to cooking because I can't leave Andy to do all the cooking tonight. Bring that booty V. Come help with the service and the tables." Mar and V say their goodbyes to the group before going back to work. Mandy grabs a bunch of Mad's fries and the rest of Sky's sandwich before running back into her office.

"Damn it. I love Mandy, but I would have loved to finish my own food even more for once. The sauce on it was to die for," Sky says as she folds her arms on her chest.

"Love you too, Sky," yelled Mandy from her office before she fully closed the door.

"Now that they are gone, let's plan for a fun night," Mads tells us as she pulls out her phone. Mine decided to go off, and I pulled it out of my pocket to see that it's Ty. He sent me 4 messages.

-Hey sis, just checking up on you. Just finished catching up on my show, and I'm a bit bored. Good thing your bed mad comfortable.

-You better not be having too much fun cuz you need to be here in the morning to make me breakfast.

-Don't let the twins trick you into anything.

-Text me back stupid. Love ya. Almost puked texting that.

I laugh at the last text. We are the type of siblings that don't need to say the words to know we care about each other. I text him back before he decides to call the cops about a missing person.

-I'm alive little bro. We are chilling at Mar's right now, but we about to leave. And no, I AIN'T GETTING YOU ANY. Don't get too comfy in bed stupid.

-Peace Tyty. If anybody besides you is in the house, get rid of them before I get back.

Ty texted me back almost immediately.

-Roger that Gumdrop. And don't call me Tyty. You're gonna ruin my reputation.

I smirk at my phone before putting it back into my pocket. Looking back up, the twins are still talking among themselves while looking at Skylar's phone.

"Alright," Sky says as she puts down her phone. "We got a plan in motion to start messing with evil Jenny. This night is gonna be lit of hell." Sky jumps out of the seat and walks towards the door. "By moms. We'll see you later. Save me some more food for later. Let's go Amigas." Three different voices from the kitchen area all scream bye back to us. Mads and I got up and followed Sky out the door. Mandy gave me a thumbs up out of her office window as I was walking away. When I got to the parking lot, I bumped into a couple that were going inside. The woman dropped her bag on the floor.

"I am so sorry. I wasn't looking where I was going."

"It's alright little lady. It's not that big of a deal. Besides, a pretty lady like yourself doesn't need to apologize for something that was going to happen anyway," the stranger said as he winked at me. The nerve of this guy. How can he say something like that with his girlfriend right next to them? Before I say anything, the woman next to the guy decides to speak up.

"Babe, can you stop flirting with the girl? Just because she's cute looking doesn't mean she wants you hitting on her. Besides, we gotta go in." She then turns her head towards me. "Hope to see you around sweety." She then smiles at me and walks away with the guy. That comment left my mouth open. "You might wanna close your mouth, sweetheart." The woman yells back at me as they reach the door handle and go in.

Well, I can't say that that has ever happened to me before. I guess there is a first time for everything. Finally, I realized that Sky and Mads were already at the car waiting for me. I make my way over. I can see now that they have a grin on their faces.

"What the hell was that?" Skylar says as we climb into the car.

"From our view, it looked like a little flirting was happening, or the woman was threatening you about her man's closeness," Madison added.

"Guys, don't worry. It was really nothing at all. Let's go," I tell them, still confused about what had happened. Sky started the car and drove off.
