  In his mind, Matthew underestimated Rebecca just because she was a woman, while he was a man who was considered stronger and dominant.   Matthew continued to maintain his attitude firmly, ignoring Rebecca's pleas. "Why? Don't you like my presence, Rebecca?" he said in a tone that crept into Rebecca's ears, causing discomfort and fear to wash over her. Every word that was spoken made Rebecca shudder, feeling a vibration that pierced her heart.   In desperation, Rebecca tried to plead in a low voice, "Please, sir.
