*Chapter 17: Room 206*
Her head spun as she stumbled, grasping the bedpost. The wine... it was drugged. Panic crept in. She tried to call out, but her voice was a whisper, and she suddenly felt hot all over.
In the restroom, Emily paid the waiter, her voice low. "You did a great job. Now go complete the last task." The waiter nodded, his eyes cold. Before she walked out, she turned to him. "Room 209. Don't mess up." The waiter smiled as Emily left the restroom. Her smile was ice. "Perfect. Let's see how you keep your head up after tonight, Heiley."
The waiter pocketed the rest of his payment and headed to the lobby, looking for room 209. He checked the hallways, but something was off — the rooms jumped from 208 back to 206. He double-checked and remembered Emily told him the room number was 209. Frustration crept in. _Must be broken._ He searched nearby, finding 206 instead. Now there were two rooms with 206, and the room numbers weren’t in order, so he failed to figure out which one was 209.
Since he was already paid and couldn't find 209, he decided to leave. Job kinda screwed. He slipped out of the hotel, disappearing into the night. Inside the room, Heiley fought to stay conscious, her world spinning and her body heating up due to the drugs.
Meanwhile, at the same hotel, Alejandro Fernandez gripped the phone, his voice firm. "Get me my room now." His secretary worked on it, and in five minutes he was done with the booking. He handed him the card, concerned. "Sir, the room number is 206." Alejandro took the card, his expression darkening. "Call the doctor. I think Rea drugged my drink." He strode toward the elevator, determination in his step. Room 206. Something was off.
As he approached, he heard a faint noise — a struggle. His eyes narrowed. He was about to swipe the card but was surprised because the door was open. He pushed it and stepped inside.
Heiley, disoriented, looked up as the door swung open. A figure loomed — tall, sharp-jawed, and furious. Alejandro's eyes locked on her, but he couldn't see properly due to the drugs. "Are you okay?"
Heiley hurried to his side and hugged him tightly. "It's hot... hot. Help me. I want you. Please help me." She started kissing him while her hands went to his shirt buttons.
Alejandro's heart skipped a beat, but he kissed her back with the same passion. He carried her up, and Heiley crossed her legs around his waist.
They reached the bed and he pressed her down. With the blink of an eye they were undressed. Alejandro hesitated for a moment. "Are you sure? If I start, I will not stop."
She nodded while pulling him to herself, their bodies making contact and sending a shiver down her spine. He kissed down her neck while his hands explored her.
Heiley let out a soft moan. Alejandro's mouth moved lower, sending electricity through her body.
He parted her legs and settled between them. Heiley whispered to him, "Be gentle." He nodded and moved slowly at first. The room filled with their mingled breaths and moans.

Alejandro heard the knock, his instincts on high alert. His gaze landed on Heiley sleeping peacefully on the other side of the bed. Her eyes were closed, breathing slow. His vision was still blurred — he couldn't see her face clearly. He reached out to her side, picking up one of her earrings. "I will come back for you." He gave her a peck on her forehead before leaving.
He slipped out of the room, finding his secretary and the doctor waiting outside. "Ken, prepare the jet. I need to be in Texas in one hour." He raised his arm, and the doctor swiftly administered an injection, counteracting the lingering effects of the drugs. Alejandro's gaze hardened. Time to move.
Next morning, Heiley woke up, her body sore. The night’s scenes flooded her mind, and she let out tears. "What did I do? Why did all this happen to me? Whom did I wrong to deserve this?" She cried while asking herself many questions but had no answers.
Downstairs, everyone gathered. It was time to leave the hotel. Harris looked for his daughter but saw no sign of her. Zoe tried her phone many times, but she was not answering. They all headed to her room to see what took her so long.
