Abel:
I was in a hurry. I wanted to be on time to my first class. Mom and dad drove me to college. I am Abel, their youngest son. My brother, Adam, is in New York with his family. After he moved to New York, it was me, mom, and dad . We are like three friends in a dorm. They were also very excited for my first day of college.
I ran through the corridor as I was running late. All of a sudden, I didn't see the door which was opened outwards.

Oh s**t! I fell. Perfect impression for my classmates and teacher. The whole class burst into laughter. It's so embarrassing. I tried to get up.
There...I see a beautiful girl looking at me. Unlike others, she was not laughing. I felt like I had known her for ages. Her eyes were brown. That's what I noticed first. She had long, luscious locks of black hair. Oh! she looks like an angel. I was looking at her like an i***t.
"Ahem, you must be Abel." My gaze was interrupted by our teacher.
"Yes, Sir." He gestured me to come in. Embarrassingly, I entered the classroom. still, some were looking at me with a smirk.
I rushed to an empty seat.
"Abel, you are in this group with Asha and Siya." Teacher instructed me.
'Great! I am sharing a seat with the same girl. Not that I am complaining. Heh!'. I went near the girls and introduced myself. "Hi, I am Abel."
Both of them looked at me and smiled. The other girl was so tall, actually taller than me. "Hi, I am Asha. Nice to meet you. " We shaked hands.
"And you must be Siya." I asked stupidly. She smiled and shaked my hands. "Yes. You have beautiful eyes. Deep like an ocean. " Siya told confidently. I was taken aback by her straightforwardness. I thought of her as a shy person. 'Stupid reply back to her,' my mind growled. "Oh, thank you.
The teacher started to talk about zoology. It's such a boring subject. Siya seems to be interested in what the teacher was saying. " Why did you choose Zoology?" I asked Siya.
She answered right away. "When I was small, I loved going to zoo. Later on, I understood the animals were not happy there. Just because something can't ask for rights doesn't give anyone the right to exploit them. I wanted to learn more so that I could do something about it."
She is smart. I like it. Why do I have to like it? What's wrong with me.
