BACK TO SCHOOL

NORA'S POV

when I woke up,nate and everybody else was gone,I decided to reheat some left over rice from this morning,after that I proceeded to find a comfortable seat in the living room,and enjoy a movie,half way through,I started hearing voices in the balcony,as an aproko that I'm decided to go and see what it was,and lo and behold ruyi and favour were eating each others face off,haa! I decided not to interrupt.i took my plate to the kitchen,and decided to check up on tessa and mercy,those girls were really slaying their holidays in Benin,we did a group video call,caught up on all the crazy things we've done,and then I called victor...let's just say it got a little emotional...I'm such a confused girl kai. what do I do? victor is a sweetheart,but I've had a crush on nate since secondary school...baba God  needs to help me o.

I spent my time packing my bags,we would all be leaving in less than a week though,my heart clenched at the thought of being away from nate...I'm so done,I decided to read school books a little,I was so bored in the house,ruyi and favour were no longer outside,I made egusi soup and eba,and then suwa came and we continued watching movies together.

2 days passed like a blur,ese slept over,and nate kept coming over,we were all preparing for school,my parents would be coming home today and I was making yam and egg sauce for lunch,they'd be bringing foodstuffs that we would all take to school,nate,ese and edos would be leaving in 3-4 days,ruyi and suwa were leaving tomorrow,and as for me? I'd probably run away when nate does.

when my parents arrived almost all our bags where ready,we acted like the good children we were,after lunch,my siblings and I were watching tv,suwa was acting all moody I had to ask her,

"iye what is it?" I asked her

"me I don't want to go school tomorrow" she replied me

"why? are you afraid of facing that fine boy?" I innocently teased

she stuttered,"what? no",then she blushed

ruyi burst out laughing

I faced him,"you better shut up o epa"

"and if I don't?" he asked

I smirked "then maybe favour should come and shut you up with her mouth again?"

"haba!" suwa shouted

ruyi just pretended to focus on the tv

I continued,"Abi you think I didn't see you trying to eat her entire mouth?"

"ha ha! oya rest na,stop opening my nyansh" he begged me

we all burst out laughing

"I would really miss you guys,I actually enjoyed this holiday",I confessed to them

"hanty mushy tushy" edos teased

And that was how I was hugging and saying goodbye to ruyi and suwa the next morning,when they left the house felt very lonely,edosa was jamming music,and I was reading books on w*****d.

Ese and nate came over,it was a little bit emotional for nate and I,but I guess we'll be fine,we decided to take it one day at a time,we were sitting on my bed.

nate sighed and held my hand,I'll miss you so much too,we'll be fine,okay?"

I sniffed "okay "

and then we cuddled on my bed,I would never have had the nerve to bring him into my room,much less cuddle with him if my parents were home,but thank God for work o

nate,ese,edos and I were leaving tomorrow,I couldn't stay one more day without my friends,I had to leave too,by evening,we all had our things ready.

In all it has been an eventful holiday,we left for the bus station early the next day,I'd drop at benin,while the trio continued their journey to Lagos,nate and I sat together,while ese and my brother sat together on the other side too. I've never wanted a journey to last so long in my life,but to my utter dismay we arrived benin earlier than I thought we would,nate kissed my cheek and gave my hand a squeeze,I said goodbye to ese and edos,I was near tears by the way,as the bus drove away,I composed myself,got a taxi and went to school.

back in school,everyone was dragging luggage upon luggage,I had just settled into my room when tessa came in,we squealed like idiots,kept hugging and rehugging,and talking non stop,we were just five in my room that resumed today,anita,alex,mia,tessa and I,remaining princess,celine,and Jane.

tess mentioned that mercy was coming later in the evening,I missed these crazy bitches mehnnn,after arranging our stuff,i decided to leave the cooking to tessa today,she was making rice and stew,mercy came in right in the middle of it all,input more squealing and more non stop talk.
