NORA'S POV

The kitchen went dead quiet...

then nate burst out laughing

I sputtered..."babes it's not what you think,I swear, it just skipped my mind..."

ese eyed me,"eh eh,it skipped your mind abi?"

I nudged her,"nor vex na"

she tried to keep a straight face,but we all burst out laughing

"and as for you epa" i turned to face nate,he cowered at the death glare i was giving him

"you can't shut up abi,i wanted to be the one to tell her" I whined

nate grinned with all his teeth on display...

"I'm sorry,I was just very excited" he said

"lovi mue eren o" ese teased us,

"I'll leave you two love birds alone,I'll go and find the loml" she said as she walked out of the kitchen

I made a face,God knows what they're going to do...ewwwww.

nate smiled,he smiled so much I was jealous

"so,babe"he started

"eh,what?" I answered him

"I was wondering if you've sorted out your feelings now,you know we'd be going to school soon,and I just want to be certain before we leave"

my heart missed a beat

I was downcast

"nate...to be honest I don't really know,I hate that I feel this way and yet I can't help it"

"its about that guy in your school and me right? you're confused"

I stared at him,speechless

he continued "I can't say it doesn't hurt,it does,your indecision hurts,but I love you and I'm always going to be here"

stray tears were fighting their way out of my eyes by now...those snitches!

I moved to hug him,the hug lasted a while and when we pulled apart,I knew nate was going to kiss me,I just knew it,maybe it was that mischievous glint in his eyes.

but nothing could prepare me for the shivers i felt when he crashed his lips with mine,I temporarily forgot my surroundings,he deepened the kiss and I involuntarily pulled my hand through his semi bushy fro,in one swift movement,nate lifted me and placed me on the counter,all the while never breaking the kiss,i felt my toe curl from the intensity of the kiss,I felt his hands move around my body,and then I felt his tongue in my mouth,I felt my lower parts tingle--

someone coughed loudly and we jumped,ruyi stood by the door with a strange girl and they were both smiling,I came down from the counter,I tried to straighten my top,key word TRIED,nate was smiling too

"ese ese"ruyi said

"shut up"I mumbled

"okay o,but please don't burn our rice"

then I remembered I was cooking,urrrgh nate!

I quickly went to turn down the heat of the gas,I had gained a little composure by then

"so who's the fine girl" I asked ruyi

"meet favour,my friend from school"

favour smiled at me,"hi ese I've heard so much about you"

I returned her smile"good things I hope?"

"good ke,nothing like that o" ruyi butt in

"abeg shut up and leave the kitchen" I frowned out him

while he stuck his tongue out at me...real mature ruyi,real mature

"fine girl come jare",ruyi said as he took favour's hand,she waved me and left with ruyi

oga nate was smiling sheepishly

"epa you too o,leave before you help me burn my rice"

"ahn ahn na,it's not my fault you're sexy"

I tried not to blush,I really did,but nate has his ways

he didn't try anything after that,we just talked,and soon after I was carrying plates of rice to the sitting room with nate behind me,equally carrying plates of rice too.

Everyone came for breakfast,ese and edos from his room,doing God knows what,ruyi and favour from the balcony,and suwa from our room,we perched on the sofas and watched Nickelodeon...yes o,we are teenagers and young adults,and we watch Nickelodeon,come and sue us!

suwa and I cleared the dishes,then we returned to join the others and talked about random stuffs till it got boring.

"abeg let's play truth or dare"ruyi said

"no!" i opposed quicky

"ah why?" ese asked

"nothing abeg,I just don't like it"

"hanty shut up,we're playing,except suwa of course,go to your room or go to neighbors" edos said

suwa got up,"I don't want to be around hormonal teenagers anyways" then she gave the peace sign and walked out

okay o! let's goo ese cheered

"I'll go first" ruyi said "nate,truth or dare?"

"truth" nate said

"are you in love with my sister?"

all eyes including mine fell on nate.
