NORA'S POV
As I stand here,this early january morning cold romancing my skin,while my mom prays for journey mercies for us all,I realized harmattan is my favorite season,it was cold,and very windy but I love it.
My mom is done with her prayers now,this time around,we were all leaving for our respective schools all on the same day,suwa and ruyi to their boarding school,Nate,Ese and Edosa to Lagos and finally me...to the dreaded UNIBEND. there's alot of food stuffs to carry,we hug our parents goodbye and board the same bus,as usual ese and edos sit together while nate joins me near the window,we make small talk.
"will you be okay at school?"Nate asks me
I look at him "yeah would you?"
he clasps his hands around mine "yeah I think I'll be okay too,you're very strong you know that"
