Five years later. [For special reasons, our flight will land at Gigul Airport in Farul. After a short stopover, it will continue its original route. Please do not leave your seats.] [For special reasons...] The soft female voice repeated the passage several times, so the quiet cabin suddenly became noisy. "Why is it making an emergency landing? Is there anything wrong?" "Did anyone hijack the plane?" "Could it be..." The panicked passengers couldn't help but guess wildly. Rosalind took off her blindfold in a daze. Before she could open her eyes and look around, two chubby little hands reached over and covered her eyes. "Mommy, Keep your eyes closed for a while. Be careful with the light." Rosalind smiled and followed the sound of the voice to kiss the kid on his forehead. "Thank you, baby." It was her son, Elroy Simpson. The child she got by accident five years ago. The bright light outside the cabin shined over their bodies through the lifted visor board. A beautiful woman and a cute child were sitting together. As the shuttering sound echoed beside them, Rosalind held her son's hand, glancing to the left alertly. Probably because her eyes were too sharp, the teenager holding up his iPad to take pictures of Rosalind and Elroy raised his hand to surrender subconsciously. Along with his movement, his iPad fell directly onto his lap. "Sorry, sis, I didn't mean to offend you. It's just that you two look so harmonious." The man didn't even see Elroy's face just now, but the scene was so eye-catching that he couldn't help envying them for their sweetness. Seeing it was a boy about fifteen or sixteen, Rosalind was not as angry as before, so she said, "Remember to ask for people's permission before you do it again." "Okay, sure." The teenager blushed at her tone, but he asked, "Can I continue taking your pictures?" Rosalind was speechless. She froze for a few seconds before she couldn't help but smile. It was hard for anyone to refuse such an energetic boy's requirement. Rosalind looked around but didn't answer. "Where's your family? Aren't they here with you?" Rosalind applied initiatively to come back from overseas to participate in the domestic company's pre-development. Therefore, her company booked business seats for her and her son. There were 11 business seats on the plane, yet all the rest of the seats were empty apart from the three of them. That was to say, the teenager took the plane by himself. "Uh, they're sitting in the back, Economy class " The teenager looked embarrassed and scratched his hair. "I wanted to experience what the business seat is like, so I made a fuss and asked them to buy me one." Rosalind smiled and glanced at the teenager. Before she could speak, the kid got out of her arms, glaring at the teenager. "That's not true, liar." When the teenager saw Elroy's face, he widened his eyes and bounced up from his seat. People could see how tense his muscles were through his clothes, not to mention his panicked face. "Damn, you are indeed a small version of The Devil!" Elroy turned around in Rosalind's arms and protected Rosalind with his little body, questioning the teenager angrily, "Who's the small version of The Devil? Your whole family is a group of devils!" After a short time, the teenager calmed down from his shock. Looking at Elroy's face again, he laughed out inwardly. If he didn't know that The Devil in his family never liked women, he could think the boy was The Devil's illegitimate son. The teenager picked up the iPad he had fallen on the ground and waved at Elroy. "Bro, can I take a picture for you? You look so handsome, so I want to keep it a souvenir." Once he returned home, he would take the photo of The Devil and fool him around. Elroy pouted his lips. "I don't want a liar to take my picture." The teenager's hand tilted. "Huh? How am I a liar?" "You said your daddy and mommy are in the back, but you were alone ever since you boarded. Nobody came to see you, and you didn't even look back there. We were in the air for eight hours. There is no way your mother would leave you here alone without asking." The boy's voice sounded naïve, but his words were logical. In his eyes, the teenager was suspicious. The teenager's expression became helpless, and he tugged feebly at the roots of his hair. "How old are you?" Elroy raised his fleshy little hand and stretched his five fingers. "Five years old!" Then he seemed guilty. Taking a look at Rosalind, who kept silent all the time and then held back one of his fingers. "Fine, I'm four." The teenager chuckled. It was so pleasing to meet such a cute Devil. But recalling what the kid just said, the teenager couldn't help twitching his lips. Why was he so smart at four years old? Did it mean people with such faces were all more intelligent than others? It's so unfair! The plane was about to land when the teenager was about to say something. Elroy ignored the teenager and put his hands around Rosalind's ears, saying, "Mommy, be careful of the following tinnitus." Rosalind was doing the same for her son at this time, smiling warmly. Three months after she left the Philip family and went to Yarim, she found herself pregnant. When she was desperate, she had thought of giving up the baby, whose father was unknown. But in the end, she couldn't bear to give it up. Later, when she gave birth to the baby, all she had in mind was happiness. She was so glad that she had given birth to the baby who brought warmth and hopes to her desperate life. After the plane landed, a flight attendant came over to apologize specially, asking them to stay in their seats. Rosalind frowned when she heard this. She didn't think someone would hijack the plane, but she knew something big must have happened now that they had to land for an emergency. Some people in the economy class couldn't help crying and shouting. Rosalind made some effort to stand up, then she said softly to her son, "I'll check around. Just stay here and don't go anywhere else, okay?" Elroy nodded and kissed her on the cheek. "Be safe." When Rosalind lifted the split curtain, she saw two rows of special forces with guns standing in unison on both sides of the boarding gate. She had a bad hunch. It looked like things were a little more complicated than she had expected. She had only watched this on TV before. No wonder some people cried out of fear. Rosalind was not as calm as she pretended to be. It would be fine if she died here alone. But her son was here with her. What if anything terrible... Just when she was still in doubt and panic, the armed special forces suddenly reversed their direction and moved a few steps toward the inside, making way for someone at the door. A slender figure came against the light. The exquisitely cut gray suit wrapped around the man's solid body, his golden hair all gathered behind the head, exposing his sharp eyes and handsome face. His brown eyes were so attractive and cold under the sunset. Rosalind was suddenly stunned. The man looked... Before she could think further, a soldier pointed his gun against Rosalind's head, saying, "Miss, please return to your seat." When Rosalind got back to the business class, she found the teenager, who had been talking to her and her son, was nowhere to see. Only Elroy lay on his seat, waiting for Rosalind obediently. "Baby, where is that teenager?" Elroy was about to answer the question with excitement when he saw the curtain being lifted. A flight attendant pulled the curtain in fear and trepidation. The handsome man walked in slowly and sat opposite Rosalind and Elroy after a while. Crossing his legs, he looked so unapproachable. "You have three seconds to come out."
