Abducting her

1675 Words
Next morning when she opened her eyes, she didn’t find any sign of Austin Gray. She tried to get up, but she felt pain around her lower body. She recalled the cruelty of last night. She didn’t know the man whom she loved for so many years would treat her like this. He lured her to bring at Viro so that he could torture her. Why did he do that to her? Loving him was her fault? She started crying when she thought of it. After crying for long time, she slowly got up and went to the bathroom. After shower she came out of the bathroom wearing a bathrobe. She then remembered she didn’t bring her clothes and he told her that he had arranged everything for her. She thought he might arrange her clothes as well, so she went to the closet. It was a huge walking closet. She looked around in awe. But when she opened the closet, she found only men’s wear. She felt heartache. She thought she must return to Oakland. She couldn’t live here like this. She then looked for her phone, but she couldn’t find it. She searched the entire room, but she didn’t find it. She then walked to the door and pulled it to open. But the door was locked. She was surprised. Austin Gray locked her inside the room and he took her phone away. She started calling Austin Gray to open the door, but no one answered. She continued shouting and slamming her fist on the door. She didn’t hear anything from the outside. She was scared. She didn’t know how long she cried and shouted. She was exhausted and her voice was not coming from her throat. She sat down on the ground leaning against the door. She thought why her life turned out like this. She loved her husband so much. She took care of his father and his family business without any complain. But at the end he cheated on her and now he locked her in a room. Why was he doing this? Few more times she called for help, but her voice was hoarse and there was no energy left in her body. She didn’t know when she fell asleep on the ground. After long time she opened her eyes as she was feeling chill. It was dark inside the room. She slowly stood up and searched for the switch, but as she was not familiar of the room, she hit her foot on the sofa and she felt pain on her toes. She squatted down and rubbed her toes. She then stood up and again started searching for the switch. Finally, she got it and pressed it. The room lit up with bright light. She looked around the room as if she was searching for something. Now only she looked carefully at the room. There was a sofa, a tea table, two side tables on both sides of the bed and a big walking closet. There was a big glass window on one side of the room and near that window there was another door. She walked to the door and tried to open it, but it was locked. She walked to the window and looked around, but the glass was fixed. She looked outside through the window. From there she could see the courtyard of the villa. There were several light poles which illuminates the entire courtyard. She could see some men. They might be security guards. A hope arose in her heart and she shouted for help at the top of her voice. But she didn’t know that the glass of the window was one sided and room was soundproof too. She kept on shouting, but no one hear her mournful crying. She was defeated again. She lost all her hopes. She slid down on the ground and started crying loudly. After crying for long time, she felt thirsty and hungry. From morning till now no one came to see her. She didn’t eat or drink. She looked for water but there was not a single bottle of water. She then rushed to the bathroom, opened the tap and started drinking. After drinking some water, she felt somewhat relieved. Then she washed her face and looked up at her reflection in the mirror. Her eyes were bloodshot and swollen. There were bruises around her neck and chest. she looked pathetic. She couldn’t identify herself. In just one day her entire look changed. Emily Gray who used to be cheerful was looked like a soulless body. There was no hope, no light in her eyes. She looked at her reflection for long time. She decided she must try to escape from there. She looked around the bathroom, but there was not a single window. She came out and again looked around the room but other than one big window and two doors there was nothing from where she could escape. She must wait for someone to come inside the room, then only she could escape from there. She laid down on the bed staring at the ceiling. She was hungry and tired. Soon she fell asleep. Three days passed. No one came to look for her. She doubted the guards might not aware of her existence. They were human too. If they knew then they would have come to give her at least some food and water. She was naive to think like that. She had no energy to walk. But she was hungry and she wanted to go to the bathroom. During these days she was drinking the tap water to survive. She didn’t want to die like this. She still hoped that she could escape from there one day and for that she must survive. She clasped the edge of the bed and tried to get up. She slowly got up of the bed but fell on the floor due to weakness. She dragged her body to the bathroom. With the support of the wall she stood up and drank water from the tap. This action caused loss of energy and she was panting heavily. She sat down in the bathroom for few minutes before came back to the bed. It was fifth day. She was feeling dizzy and she didn’t have energy to go to the bathroom. She didn’t know she was awake or in trance. At that moment she thought she was dying. She recalled her parents. They had no idea how she was living there. They might be happy thinking that she finally started living with her husband. She thought of her father-in-law who told her to call him immediately if she had any problem. Tears rolled down from the corner of her eyes. She wanted to live but it seemed that she was going to die in a closed room and no one would find her whereabouts. At that time, she prayed to God to forgive her if she had done any sin in her life. Definitely she had done some unforgivable sin that’s why she was suffering like this. A wry smile appeared on her face and closed her eyes slowly. She lost her consciousness. ….. Slowly she regained her senses and opened her eyes. When she was awake last time, she thought she was about to die then how did she survived? Dizziness she felt earlier was not there anymore. She was not feeling tired too, in fact she was feeling somewhat fresh. ‘Am I dead? Or Am I dreaming?’ She murmured in her mind. Bright sunlight was coming through the window. So it was day time. She tried to get up and found out that needle was inserted in her vein and it was connected to IV saline. She looked up at the saline bottle hanging on the stand near the bed in surprise. Just then she heard a familiar voice “You are awake.” She startled and looked at the direction from where the voice sounded. Austin Gray. He finally showed up. He was sitting on the sofa. Today he wore one blue t-shirt and a grey trouser. Emily Gray was staring at his handsome face. She didn’t know how long she was unconscious and when this man came there. But the main question bothering her was why he came now when he didn’t show up for five days. At that time, she heard him to say “Next time when I go for business trip, I will arrange some food for you. This time I was very angry with you, so I punished you.” She was shocked. This was his punishment. She couldn’t help but ask “Why are you doing this? If you don’t want to live with me then just leave me. Divorce me.” “Divorce you? Do you want me to lose my family property? I don’t know what you said to Dad about me and Sheena that he made a will like this.” He sighed and continued saying “You know, I loved you once. But when I met Sheena, I fall in love with her. I wanted to spend my life with her, but I didn’t want to hurt you. I wanted to tell you about my relationship. I was waiting for suitable time to talk to you. I wanted to give you divorce with lots of money so that you can live the rest of your life easily without any problem, but you ruined my plan. Now I can’t marry Sheena. If I do that then I will not get anything from my family business. Hence, the title of Mrs. Gray will be yours, but you can’t get my love.” Emily Gray was listening looking at him in great shock. His words were like acid which were falling on her heart drop by drop causing burning sensation. She didn’t have any idea when this man fell in love with other woman. When she was thinking he only loved her that time he was giving his love to Sheena Jones. She didn’t know when her tears fell down from her eyes.
