Chapter Ten-1

2362 Words

The next morning, Nikki threw on a pair of black jeans, a white tee shirt, and cowboy boots. She rushed into the bathroom. She splashed cold water on her face, brushed her teeth, and pulled her hair back into a ponytail. She got up the nerve to look in the mirror and jumped back in horror. She was done crying over men. Winston and Ross could suck eggs for all she cared. She grabbed the cowboy hat off the dresser, placed it on her head, and dashed out the door.Once she arrived home in Montgomery, she was sure that she would be able to find a job. She arrived in front of the lodge just as the shuttle pulled up.
