Saying Hello
Joe went to the headquarters as what Alex instructed him to do earlier. He’s carrying a bag of bagel from Mr. Lauve’s shop, knowing he’ll spend a lot of time in the headquarters since Sirius is not around. He tried to contact Sirius, but he’s not picking up. Everybody was busy, just like how it was before he left. He saw a couple in their late 40’s sitting on a corner while watching everyone walking around.
Their gaze met his, and that’s when you know they got something to ask or tell you, so he decided to walk where they are.
“Is there something I can do for you?” he asked.
“Can I ask where the toilet is?” the man asked him.
He told the man the direction, and then he left to mend his own needs. He was with the man’s wife, and Joe asked for her name.
“Miranda,” she said.
