What It’s Like to Have a Family
“Kiz!” Xyra shouted when she saw a kid sitting on a park bench.
“Xyra?” he called.
It was one windy afternoon, and a lot of kids were having fun with their friends. A place where worries will fly away even for adults and kids who think like adults. It was indeed a nice day to talk with someone and have a good talk.
“How long has it been, a month?” she asked excitedly.
“Almost,” he said.
“So, how is it going? Your sweater looks good on you,” she asked.
“Thanks! I’m good, how about you?”
“Totally fine. They had me enrolled at a school nearby. I’m so excited, but I kind of feeling lonely at the same time. I missed you guys,” she said.
“I missed you, too,” he said.
