Gloria left the CEO’s office in a daze. Her fingers tightened around the car key as she walked into the lobby. She handed it to the security guard, who immediately straightened and bowed respectfully before taking it from her. “Please wait a moment, Mrs. Anderson,” he said. Gloria nodded absentmindedly. A few minutes later, the guard returned—this time driving a sleek black Lamborghini that slowly came to a stop right in front of the building. Gloria froze. The guard stepped out and smiled proudly. “Mr. Lukas purchased this car three days ago, ma’am.
