Kit Pays Her Dues

Leif’s POV

I recovered quickly from that kick and angrily left the bathroom! That b*tch would pay for that when I caught her!  Making my way to the front of the airport , I  noticed a cab driver flirting and talking to a flight attendant and heard him mention he had a crazy foreign woman in his cab and needed to take her to the nearest motel then he’d be back.  

Taking my phone from my pocket, I dialed Leon “Meet me in the front of the airport now and make it quick!” I ordered. I made my way out of the airport  and glanced around and spotted the cab and took quick strides and opened the door. She looked up at me startled and was about to scream when my fist hit her in the face knocking her out.

"Sorry lass but you left me no choice!" I voiced as I picked her up. I saw Leon pull up and rushed to the SUV before the cab driver came out and noticed his passenger in my arms. Jamie opened the door for me and I climbed inside bringing her with me and cradling her in my arms on my lap as I rubbed her cheek where I'd hit her and flinched. 

Have much trouble? Leon asked me with a grin.

"Aye she gave me a little," I agreed and chuckled.

 I glanced over at Selena who refused to look at me as she bent her head down but not before I saw tears forming in her eyes!!  I cursed silently knowing she wasn’t liking the way I was treating her friend. “Selena, look at me!" She ignored me and refused to move which p*ssed me off. “SELENA! ANSWER ME NOW!” I demanded in my Alpha voice.

Selena looked up and I saw the tears fall down her cheeks. Her eyes showed hatred which startled me .I knew the woman in my arms was important to her but Selena needed to realize that she was more important to me now. The girl was suppose to be just a lesson, someone to use and study after, but she'd become more.  I couldn't let her go.  “ Selena, why the tears?" I asked 

"It wasn't suppose to be this way! What will she think of me now?" she asked with a sob.

 "If she is truly special to you, then she will forgive you!" I stated.

"Leif, you hit her! she shouted. Is this the reason that you wanted me to bring her here? she yelled furious not daring to look me in the eyes. "Selena, I suggest you lower your voice when speaking to your Alpha ! I demanded. I watched as she bent her head to me. I could see her shoulders shake and knew that she was crying again. 

"You never told me you planned anything this drastic for her or I never would of brought her with me!" Selena whispered in a harsh tone.

"Selena, did I not tell you that we could use her?" I looked at her as she looked up at me wide eyed. She remembered me saying that now and I saw guilt on her face as she asked. "Leif, what is your plans for her?" she asked with a shaky voice . "I wished to use her to train the women of the pack" I stated coldly causing her to look up at me confused. 

"To train them, what do you mean?" she asked. 

"You know the most of the packs are transitioning and trying to be more human like and so far the men have had no trouble adjusting, however, the women here still act like animals and use their animalistic instincts and we can't have that" I explained. 

"What does that have to do with Kit? Selena asked confused. 

"If there is a human girl around, they can watch and learn from her and know how to handle themselves in certain situations as her kind does and help them transition faster."

"Kit is the wrong girl for this, it will not work, I would have told you that if you'd have explained this to me. " Selena voiced.

"She will do what she's asked to do or she will suffer for it! Did I not pay her way while she's been your roommate all of these years?"

"I paid them , not you Leif!"

"Oh, and where did you get your money from Selena?  I asked with a smirk causing Selena to bend her head down in surrender. "Selena, she will pay her dues owed to me!"
