Game Time

Leif's POV

I felt her pass out beneath me and quickly removed my hand . Cursing my wolf, I got up and walked to the door and went downstairs shouting for Selena. Lucas came running into the room and glanced at me as if I'd lost my mind . Jamie showed up and stared daggers at me as I continued to call out his mates name angrily. "Don't look at me like that Jamie, Where's Selena?"

I noticed he still just sat there suspiciously as I ranted. I know he was wondering what would happen to his mate and was debating on rather or not to comply with my demand. "Jamie,  bring her to me at once"  I shouted!! 

"Leif, can this not wait, she's tired and just returned home , give her a break!" Jamie pleaded for his mate.

"No, I want to see her now!"  I barked angrily

"Leif, we haven't seen her in months, she's our sister, have mercy on her! Lucas shouted angrily.

"Bring her to me NOW Jamie, I growled and noticed a worried look in his eyes as he finally caved in and went to retrieve his mate. I noticed Lucas staring at me with concern. "What is your problem?" I asked.

"Leif,  I don't know why you're so fired up but go easy on Selena, she still has not forgiven you for what happened earlier." Lucas said worriedly. " We can't push our little sis away or afford to loose Jamie."

"Lucas, relax, I only want to ask her a few questions."  I heard Jamie coming and noticed he was dragging Selena behind him as she struggled , cussed, and fought him. After reaching me, he threw her in the floor at my feet. "The girl! Is she still a virgin? I asked coldly. 

"What?" Selena asked in confusion.

"Selena, does she have a man back home?" I asked in an icy tone.

"N..Not r..really" she replied causing me to raise my eyebrows at her. 

"What does that mean Selena?" I roared. 

"She was interested in someone, all they did was a few dates and a kiss, that's all I know Leif."

"Are they close?" I growled. 

"They are close, but they didn't do anything together, I swear Leif, that's why I wanted to bring her here with me, he's like us and I didn't trust him with her."

"What's his name? I asked coldly. 

"S..Scott but if you do something to him, do not let her find out Leif, she will not forgive you for it. "

"Do you think I care if she forgives me or not Selena? She's my mate, I will kill any man that touches her, do you understand that?" I bellowed. 

I noticed Jamie glaring at me with anger as he mind linked me. "Leif, let her go so she can rest and I will find out everything you want to know on this Scott and your mate and report it back to you!" he promised. "I just want Selena to get some rest, she's still upset because she thinks she lost her best friend. " I didn't say anything  but nod. "You can go rest now Selena,"

"Alpha , thank you!" I flinched as Selena called me Alpha instead of Leif as If i was nothing more to her then that. I knew she hated me for what I done and didn't believe I loved her but little did she know,  I'd rip my own heart out before I'd let anything happen to her but she needed to understand, I couldn't let Kit go. 

I glanced at Lucas as I walked back up the stairs. I'd figured this out my way and get the truth once and for all. The girl would know not to play games with me that she couldn't win. I will either be her first and last or just her last but either way, this Scott would pay for touching my mate even if it was just a stolen kiss. 

I walked into the room, grabbed the pitcher off the table, and poured a glass of water. Walking to the bed, I took the cup and emptied the whole thing in her face waking her up. I glared angrily at her as she woke up and stared furiously at me. "I don't like games little one, especially when it makes me look like a monster in front of my sister." I spoke coldly.
