Selena's POV
I watched as Leon continued to stalk Kit. Why were they doing this? I couldn’t understand what the big deal was with her getting a room for a few days but the rate they were going, they were scaring her off and freaking her out. They didn’t know Kit the way I did. I looked as I seen a pissed off Leon come striding back to where I was standing. "Leif said she is to be in the f*cking car Selena, he growled at me, He won’t be happy about this."
"Leon, I don’t understand what the big deal is, You are terrifying her! At this point , I’ll never get her to come home with me again!" I became annoyed and my anger was finally starting to come out. I didn't know where Jamie went, he just disappeared. I looked at Leon again, "She’s probably making plans as we speak to return back to Cali right now"
" What the hell is taking so long, where's the girl?"
I jumped in my nervousness as I heard those words spoken and knew who they had come from!! Turning around to face Leif , I smiled as best as I could. "Leif , I missed you!" I yelled as I ran up and hugged him. I was rewarded with a smile and a big hug back that made me happy. Since Leif became Alpha, he had completely changed over the last three years and became more serious. I hated it.
"It’s good to have you back!" I noticed he looked around suddenly then looked back at me. “Selena, Where is the girl?” Leif asked.
"Leif, she just needs a few days to herself, that's all, then she will come to our home!" I pleaded as I noticed he started to look around the airport. I could tell by his posture and aura that he was growing impatient then suddenly he demanded in his alpha voice, "Selena, where did she go?”
I was gonna talk to him but before I could, Leon started to mind link Leif and left it opened to where I could hear it as well. I could see my brother's angry stance then finally he looked at me before roaring “ Selena, Go to the vehicle with Jamie! " I tried one more time. “ Leif, please give her some time, what's the big deal?" I asked then I jumped as Leif glared at me.
"Selena, that's an order! he roared at me causing some to stop and stare at us. Puzzled, I stood there for a few moments when suddenly Leif growled and ordered. "Go NOW!" After that Jamie grabbed grabbed my wrist and dragged me out of the airport. They were all confusing me and I didn't know why they were making such a big deal out of this.
Jamie threw me in the SUV and jumped in staring at me as I glared at him. "What's going on Jamie?"
"Selena, we can discuss it later, it's not my place to say!"
"Jamie, I am your mate! I want to know what's going on and why the heck they are freaking Selena out like that, she is gonna start hating me!"
"Selena, just chill! He's not going to hurt your friend and neither is his wolf.
I glared at him. "Jamie, I hate you! You always show loyalty to them before you do to your own mate!" I spat.
"SELENA! One more word out of your mouth about my loyalty and I'll throw you across my knees and give you a spanking that has long been due! I have done everything in this pack to make sure it's safe for you! You have always been my focus!" he roared.
"HA! You are so far stuck up my brother's arse's that you haven't even spent any time with me in the last two summers that I've visited Jamie! I don't even want you as a mate anymore!" I spat with venom then Jamie was on me and in my face as he stared down at me angrily. "Selena, say those words one more time and I won't be able to control my wolf when he comes out to give you a well deserved punishment."
"Get off me!" I yelled angrily. "How dare you threaten me with your wolf Jamie!" I watched as he smirked and sat back up and stared at me again as his lips curled up wickedly before he spoke. "It was a threat! It was a promise! Speak words like that again and you'll find out!" I could tell that this was a side of Jamie I've never seen which meant that it was his wolf talking. I sat back not wanting to test my theory today. I was to tired.
