Meanwhile, In the Airport

I sat in the SUV with Jamie and my brother Leon. Jamie had taken Lucas's place wanting to meet Selena at the airport. I could understand his reasoning and so I agreed. He hadn't been able to see her that much last summer when she was here due to pack business and neither were we. Selena was nineteen now so she'd be the age to bond more with her mate now. I know that's what Jamie was wanting. The question was, would she stay this time? 

"Jamie, I know you and your wolf are excited to be seeing Selena after such a long time. Just take things slow alright and don't forget her friend is with her so we have to be cautious around her and make sure we don't make her suspicious. "

 "Yes bro, I understand, I'm just relieved that I finally get to lay eyes on her again."

" Go then!  I'll be waiting here!! You and Leon go collect Selena and the other girl!"

                                                        Leon's POV

I looked at Leif as I opened the car door and got out,  not glancing back knowing Jamie had followed me as we made our way to the entrance of the airport !! I also couldn't wait to see Selena, she'd been gone for so long,  I was glad to finally get to see our little sis again. I glanced over to Jamie as we walked into the airport and chuckled, "I bet your wolf is doing a happy dance right now"

 "Leon, you know that she will most likely be a pain in the ass right? "Jamie chuckled as we now stood there waiting impatiently for her to appear . "I think Leif is excited to, even if he doesn't show it to much"

 "He worries about her, we all do! " I said sadly. "She’s in a strange place all on her own Jamie, I know that worries Leif as her Alpha and you as her mate. It's gotta be hard on the both of you as well as me."

"Leon, it's hard to deal with,  if something happened to her, I'd go insane! I want to love her but at the same time, I want to punish her for leaving all of us"  Jamie added to the conversation but both of us stiffened and smiled suddenly hearing Selena's voice

 "What are you two dumb asses doing here?" Selena shouted across the airport. 

 I turned to glance at my sis not believing how much she's changed since the last time she left. She'd grown even more beautiful and seemed more mature. I realized in that moment by the look on his face that Jamie wouldn’t let her go back even if she wanted to . I picked my sister up and spun her around in a big hug before Jamie could get his hands on her. "I've missed you Selena" I said with a big grin 

"Put me down Leon, you're wrinkling my outfit" Selena said as she laughed. Once I put her down, I saw her glance at Jamie and stare at him. I knew both of them were struggling with what to say. Their last departure wasn't a good one and they'd fought when she left. I don't even think they been talking that much since she left. Finally, she broke the silence. "Hello Jamie!"

"Damn Selena,  you look good! “ Jamie stated making me chuckle at his first choice of words and I shoved him on the shoulder as Selena laughed and said "well duh, dumb ass, I can't stay little and ugly forever you know!"  Suddenly , I realized something and a serious scowl appeared on my face. “ SELENA!”

 I noticed that Selena looked at me due to the tone and sternness in my voice before she answered me. “Yeah Leon, what is it?"

 I looked around the airport again before staring Selena straight in the face. "Where's the girl?"

 “It's not a girl Leon, she's my friend, and her name is Kit, please use her name. Selena stated without answering my question causing me to stare at her angrily and she finally answered.

"Kit went to grab us both a coffee, It was a long flight and we’re both tired.” Selena explained as she still stared at Jamie and completely ignored me. I looked at Selena again and noticed she seemed to fidget a little? "Is something wrong Selena?"

"Leon, l lied to her to get her to come with me and told her that Leif said I couldn't go back, can you please mind link him and let him know not to blow my cover story please." Selena asked worriedly. I noticed Selena's voice trembled as she spoke. This friend must be really special to her. I noticed that Jamie grabbed her and hugged her as he spoke to her gently.

"Hey don't worry about it okay, No point stressing yourself out over it,  don't you agree Leon ? I didn't respond  to Jamie's question because my attention was not on him or Selena but somewhere else!! My chin dropped as I stared ahead at the vision coming toward us and tried to respond to Jamie.."Uh, Yeah don't worry about it Selena." 

"What the hell is wrong with you Leon?  Jamie asked me as I turned back in that same direction and saw the most beautiful woman that I've ever seen in my life!! Her face was perfect, the complexion of her skin seemed to glow, and  her long black hair fell in waves around her shoulders and down her back as she ran her hand through in frustration and sported a tank top, daisy dukes, and cowgirl boots. 

She seemed to be multitasking and struggling as she carried her sling bag over her shoulder that kept falling as she dragged her suitcase on wheels behind her, she stopped as she almost dropped the coffees she was carrying  in one hand while trying to talk on the phone with her other. !! Then all of a sudden she stopped right in front of us handing a coffee to Selena . "You got to be kidding me!" I blurted out.
