Hopefully Happily Ever After

chapter 5

I woke up with a renewed sense of belonging.  I had a mate,  we were fully mated,  nothing could break my mood, or so I thought.

Isaac brought me some things so I could go incognito.   I tied my hair up and put a red wig on, changed my eye color and looked in the mirror,  the reflection I saw staring back at me looked nothing like Katelyn, I guess that was a good thing.

I left the room to see if any of the pack members would recognize me.

"Excuse me miss, where are you going?" One of the warrior guards called after me.

"I was summoned for a meeting with the Alpha." I stated. 

He put his hand on my shoulder to keep me from moving, I could see he was mindlinking Isaac. "Very well, he says he is expecting you." He removed his hand from my shoulder and I giggled a little bit. 

I ran in and straight into Isaac's office.  "There's gonna be talk now about this new woman you have in your office." I purred as I clicked the door shut and locked.

"Who's a naughty little minx now?" Isaac grinned.

I crawled up on his desk and sat in front of him. I ran my hand up his rock hard chest through his button up shirt.  I kicked my shoes off and straddled his lap.  I began placing kisses on his neck as I rocked my hips against him.

He let out a growl.  "Do you have any idea what you are doing to me?" 

I grinned, " Mr big bad wolf, I most certainly know exactly what I'm doing to you. "

He grabbed me by the hips and placed me back on the desk.  He quickly discarded his pants which had a very visible wet spot.  "Strip!" He commanded. 

"As you wish." I stated as I dropped my pants to the floor.  

He grabbed a hold of my panties and they landed on the bookshelf. He lined himself up and plunged into me.  I felt so full and so complete.   I arched my back towards him as he rocked his hips. My orgasm was cresting and I screamed loudly.  He kept going and more followed.  All at once I felt him tense up and then a warm sensation.  He let out one last growl as he finished himself off inside me.  He leaned in and kissed my mark.

"You drive me crazy!" He said kissing me.  He disappeared into the bathroom and came back out with a wet cloth and towel to clean me off.

There was a knock at the door, "Everything alright in there Alpha?" The voice asked.

"Perfect." He hummed.

"There is someone here to see you.  It is a representative from the Green Moon Pack looking for the Alphas daughter. "

My heart stopped.  "They found me."

I looked at Isaac with fear in my eyes.  I couldn't return to my father, if you wanted to call him that.  Dead fish were more human than that man.

"Tell them I will be there in 10 minutes," Isaac gruffly stated.

"As you wish, Alpha." Came from the other side of the door.

We got dressed and I fixed my disguise.  "I will not let them take you." He said kissing my head.  I swallowed hard, I knew exactly what my father was capable of, and that scared me almost as much as the thought of leaving Isaac.

He grabbed my hand and we started walking.  I tried to place a fake smile on my face.   "Just follow my lead and let me do the talking. " he said kissing the back of my hand.   I nodded and took a deep breath as we addressed my fate. 

We walked in to see a man holding a piece of paper and 2 much bigger men beside him.

"Alpha Daniels," he nodded at Isaac. "I'm here on official business from Alpha Bond." A strange look came over Isaac. 

"I'm not exactly sure who that is. " he stated matter of factly.  He was not lying, I don't think I ever told him my last name.

"He is the Alpha of the Green Moon Pack, to the south of here.  I am the current beta, Seth, our old beta hot killed in an attack." Isaac was nodding.   "Who is this lovely?" He asked looking at me.  I took a deep breath and held tighter to Isaac's hand, ...here we go,  I thought to myself.

"This is my mate and Luna to be, Kat, short from Katrina," he smiled at me and kissed my cheek. "She came to me from the Black Road Pack up North." I smiled.

He held out his hand and kissed it, I tried to fake a smile.  "We are looking for this girl." He said passing Isaac a flyer.  It was a very old picture, I was barely 12 in that picture,  now that I was 18, I looked different even without the disguise. "Her name is Katelyn Bond, there is a $100,000 reward for her return to our pack."

Isaac eyed the paper, pretending to inspect it.  "Nope, I've not seen this girl, ever, if I'm being honest."  He squeezed my hand.

"Thank you for your time, Alpha Daniels," he said taking the paper back, "Please let us know if you see her, our Alpha is worried sick for his daughter." And with that he turned on his heel and was escorted out.

Isaac pulled me into a hug.  "The good thing is that picture looks nothing like you." I nodded nuzzling into his neck. "You keep that up and I won't be responsible for what the pack witnesses."

I grinned, "I guess it's a good thing there we're no recent pictures, I really blossomed around 16, that picture I may have been 11, possibly 12…and my father missing me, that a load of crap, the only thing he is missing is the money someone promised him for me."

"I told you that you would be safe with me."  I nodded.  "Now let's go grab something to eat, we have much to discuss."

I woke up with a start, sweating and panting.  All I could remember was the eyes, her eyes….MOM!  I felt arms around me pulling me close, I couldn't stop the tears from flowing. 

"What's wrong?" He asked wiping my tears.  I was shaking, he wrapped a blanket around me and pulled me close.

"Nightmare…" I choked out.  "Her eyes….all those bodies...what kind of a monster is he?"

"It's okay, I've got you, he can't hurt you anymore." He rocked me gently.  I felt so safe in his arms.  "I've heard rumors over the years, I want to talk to my father and the elders, see what they know. " I nodded.  He layed me down beside him, "Let's go back to sleep, my love, I'll keep you safe."

I snuggled in close to his chest and drifted back to a dreamless slumber.
