CHAPTER THREE Sadie followed O’Hara outside, where he gave her the address and the keys to the snow truck. “You won’t get up there otherwise,” he told her. “Are you sure you’ll be able to find it? It’s a thirty-minute clear run, and then the last few miles will be off road.” Sadie nodded as she wrapped her scarf back around her face and pulled up her hood. “Sure,” she replied as she climbed into the snowmobile, too quietly for Agent O’Hara to hear her through the fabric, “it’s right next to my hometown.” Sadie drove off, the heavy wheels making deep tracks through the snow, and saw O’Hara wave at her in the rearview mirror.
