Chapter Five Trinity shook her head. “No, not that.” She didn’t want to say the word that continued to ring in her head. Even to her it sounded crazy and would sound worse to her father. “Something that isn’t ordinary.” Troy slung an arm around Trinity’s shoulders. “Do you honestly think I’d let something happen to Trinity?” Rod sighed once more, rubbing his hand across his face. “Tax forms are easier than dealing with you.” Trinity grinned. “I know.” He’d told her that more than once.
