Chapter Nine “How do you feel about dungeons?” Trinity asked. “Depends. Do I get to lock you away in one to keep you out of mischief?” Rod asked. “I don’t know. You’ll have to ask Kinnon.” Rod’s mouth dropped open, his beer halfway to it. After a few seconds he placed the beer on the table. “They live in a castle?” She shrugged. “I don’t know. But I guess so since dungeons usually go hand in hand with a castle.” “Start at the beginning.” Rod took a long drink of his beer and started to put it on the table. Halfway there he raised it to his mouth and took another long drink. “Maybe you should wait until I grab a second drink first. Or something stronger.” Trinity grinned at her father’s dry tone. “Okay, the beginning. We were lying on my bed waiting for Kinnon to come alive again.”
