Chapter Nineteen Lightning forked across the sky and Trinity saw blood on her fingers. Seconds later she heard Tarrant yell her name from atop the mountain. She pressed herself close to the slope, barely daring to breath. Would he see her if he looked over the edge? Looking up she stared into the dark. “Trinity!” There was no way she was about to answer him. She’d rather be struck by lightning. It’d probably be safer in the long run. “Answer me. Where are you? How did you hurt yourself in a way to cause it to rebound onto me? Trinity!
