Trinity was relieved, stepping away to compose herself, surprised to find Darak at her side. He momentarily rested his hand on her shoulder and she met his gaze, giving him a brief nod of thanks for watching over her to make sure she didn’t hurt anyone she cared about.
Everyone seemed to talk at once. Tomas said they had enough doses of the antidote, and a few spare. Troy talked about Rod being worried Trinity wouldn’t be back in time for the next school semester the following week. And Trinity could hardly believe it had been Wednesday when Troy had left their world.
