Natasha's POV cont'd: "What did you just say?" I asked gazing up at him to be sure of what I just heard. He stared at me blankly for a moment and then his lips gave a curvy smile. "C'mon, you girls should chill, your faces looks like you've seen a ghost" Scott said still smiling. "You think this is all a joke?!" Trish yelled at him standing up from the couch, she shook her head and bite her lower lip. "I told you girls that he's a psychopath but you wouldn't believe me" she deadpans and sighs exasperatingly. "I'm not a psychopath!" Scott scolded sending shivers to us all as we stared at him in a gape. "You should remember I wasn't the one that brought you here, if you want me to help then you have to act like someone that needs my help!" He added with a deep scowl and went towards the door. I stood up and called after him. "Scott", he paused and stood there not glancing back. "I'm sorry...", I started but he cuts me short by turning to face me. "You're not the one to be sorry, Natasha, it is her, she is rude and doesn't have any manners" he said pointing at Trish with a glare. "Of course I do have manners, don't talk to me like I'm a kid" Trish retorted heading towards him. "A mannered woman wouldn't speak to a man in the way you just did or you've been doing since I got here" he retorted and I stood there gaping confusedly at them. "It is you that is ill-mannered, you have no respect for a lady and you're......" "Trisha that's enough!" I yelled cutting her midsentence standing in between them. "What is wrong with you? Can't you get a control of your temper for once in your life?" I asked feeling agitated while the others stared at me with wide eyes. I guess they are surprise that there could be such a side of me that ever gets angry knowing me to be the calmed one amongst the three of us before Cathy joins our group. "It isn't my fault! He started speaking rudely to me and I have to respond to that!" Trish answered with a frown. "Well you provoked him to", I replied coolly my anger beginning to subsides. Trish rolled her eyes and folded her arms and rested it on her chest and glances away. The room became filled with awkward silence. Cathy stood up and glances from Scott to me then to Trish and finally to Bernie. "I can understand almost everyone has been under pressure for the past couple of hours which is why we're being all pissed at each other, but I don't think we'll all get out of here alive if we keep getting upset at each other and not settling any misunderstandings we might have. I suggest we all sit down and talk things out as adults that we are" She said. "Cathy is right, we shouldn't let the situation we found ourselves to create more troubles than we already are in" Bernie agreed. To be honest I didn't intentionally scolded Trish, I was just trying to reason her to my point of view and obviously to my remaining friends who have same intentions like mine. "I really didn't mean to sound harsh to anyone not even my Trish..." "Your Trish?" Trish asked with a raised brow and a frown. I nodded, "that sounds more like we're lesbians and it could easily scare your new boyfriend, Scott away" she added with an eye roll and I gasp in shock while Scott snorted and Bernie and Cathy snickered. "You've got some sense of humour after all" Scott commended with a smile and took a sit. "I sure do" Trish replied flashing him a smile with an eye rolling before taking a sit next to Bernie. I shook my head and glances back to Cathy who was still standing by my side. "You should have a sit as well" Cathy said to me and I reckoned and took a sit. "So?" I gazed up at everyone in the room and their attention were focused on me. "I've been meaning to ask you something, Scott", I paused and stared directly at him. "Sure, ask" he gestured me to go on clasping his hand together. "How did you find this place that we are right now? And who apart from you is staying in this house?" I asked. I really wanted to know if we were safe in this place. "Ha! I've got no idea who's house this is. I met no one here, I just broke in and made it my shelter" he explained and I stared at him awestruck. "You mean you have no idea who's house this is?" Bernie asked again. "Yes, and I ......" He was cut short by a clattering sound which got us all startled. "What was that?" I asked with wide eyes. "I don't know" Scott answered. "Where did that sound come from?" Cathy asked. "Maybe is from outside?" Scott answered rethorically with a shrug. "I don't think......." There was another clattering sound along with a manly growl that affected the wooden deck of the house we were in. We all squeal and stood with the exception of Scott. "The noise is coming from here" Scott said and he felt a pounding on the wooden floor on where his foot was and he jerk up in a swift and we squeal on the top of our lungs. "I guess there's a basement here and I guess someone is in there, we have to get out of here" he added panting. "But where do we go from here? Is dark out there and very dangerous" I replied shakily while my friends stood close to the door. "I don't know! But we have to leave here this minute before anyone that's in there comes out to attack us" he yelled and then the wooden floor began shaking like someone was trying to push it open. "Open up the door!" I yelled at my friends and return my gaze on the floor. I don't know which of my friends was trying to open the door but I could hear fondling of locks as Scott and I watch out for the others. Suddenly the wooden floor flew open sending Scott flying towards the dinning corner and he landed with a loud thud on the floor. I squeal together with my friends and I heard a squeak. I turned around and saw that Cathy has unlocked the door, that got me a little distracted and I found myself on the couch. I looked at myself wondering how I got here and then I looked up and saw a giantic man standing in front of me with bloody hands. This can't be real!
