Playlist - Sara Bareilles ~ Breathe Again
Natasha's POV:
We've been sitting here by a tree waiting for Trisha and Scott. When Trish told us she was going back there to help Scott, I questioned her powers for her to think of such. I would have done that instead of her, but because I was recovering from the beatings of that giant monster I accepted to stay behind while she goes to help with the small dagger she had with her. Now, it's been like forever and we haven't seen or heard from them. Every where was dark and it was getting so chilly out here without no shelter.
"What is keeping them?", Bernie asked.
"It must have been tough to have a fight with a hefty man like that, his powers supercede theirs, I just pray they make it out of there alive because....." I was cut short when we heard footsteps approaching.
"Shhh, be quiet", I whisper and we immediately stood up and tiptoed to the back of the big tree. We waited there quietly to see who it was, then the footsteps was getting closer to where we were and there was a sniffing like that of a human. "It could be them", I whisper.
"Natasha!" Someone yelled my name and immediately I could tell it was Scott.
"Scott?", I called walking gently to where the voice was coming from.
"It's me Natasha, where are you?" He half-yelled turning left and right as I watched him walking more closer.
"I'm right here", I answered closing up the gap. He was looking devastated and he...he was alone. "Where is Trish?" I asked quietly. Silence, no words from him but silence. "Where is Trisha?" I asked one more time.
"I'm sorry", he muttered with sobs and I stared at him confusedly on what he was sorry about.
"You're sorry?", I asked and he nodded with his head bow low. "Sorry about what?" I asked my mind blocking all negative thoughts that was trying to surface.
"She couldn't make it", he replied and I stared at him blankly. I don't understand a thing he was trying to say. I turned around and saw Bernie and Cathy behind me staring in anticipation of knowing our friend whereabout.
"Who couldn't make it?" I asked coolly swallowing the lumps of saliva that has been formed in my throat.
"Trisha is dead", he announced. Immediately a cold breeze hit me and all I could here was faint sobs from my friends behind me, I couldn't hear my own sobs, I didn't even know if I was still in the same planet as theirs. Everything started getting blurry, faint voices was in my head I guess before everything went blank.

Bernice's POV:
The shocking news of my friend's death caused everyone to be moody, not just being moody but my best friend, Nat had passed out on hearing the news and that had took us several minutes before we could revive her, and ever since she became conscious she hasn't spoken a word to anyone, she's just in silent sobs. Right now, she's in the arms of Scott, while I was sitting next to Cathy still under the tree.
"We have to leave here, here's not save enough for us", Scott said breaking the deafening silence that we've been for the past couple of minutes if not an hour.
None of us responded to what he had just said.
"Did you ladies hear me?" He asked but still got no response. "Please you ladies should say something" he said again.
"You can go, I don't want to leave here" Nat replied quietly releasing herself from his hold.
"I can't leave you and your friends behind, I made a promise to Trisha to protect the three of you before she died in my arms. I can't b......" He was cut midsentence by Nat.
"Enough!" She yelled and everywhere went silent even the chirping birds obeyed her voice. "Stop saying Trisha is dead, she's not dead, she'll come back, is just one of her pranks" she added reassuringly to herself.
That broke my heart and I went into full sobs again, same goes to Cathy and then to Natasha. Nat stood up and ran towards the path of the house where Trisha had died and we ran after her, Scott catch up with her and got a hold of her body into his arms while she kept screaming for him to let her go.
"Let me go!" She muffled out struggling out of his grip. "I want to see my friend", she cried out. Cathy and I were in full sobs as we embrace each other and cried on each other shoulders.
"Calm down, Nat. You can't see her right now." Scott replied tightening his grip on her body.
"I want to see her, or let me die instead", she said in sobs as she went down on her knees and Scott went down with her, his arms wrapped around her body as she buried her face on his chest.
"Please don't say you'll die, you have to be strong, Nat", he encouraged her. Scott was a real man, for him to be this strong to hold my friend down is worth an appraisal, I wondered what would have happened if he weren't here with us. Cathy and I went to where they sat and collapse ourselves into Nat and Scott's body and we all engaged ourselves into full loud sobs in a group embrace.
Trish is dead, I can't believe it. The only girl I've met with lots of vibes, she's fun so full of fun, crazy, beautiful, she's everything, now she's dead. Death why? why did you take her away from us? Trish why did you leave without saying goodbye? You didn't even get to say "b***h, I'm leaving, be good" why?
How are we going to cope without you here? what do we tell your parents? I'm going to miss you so much. Please come back!
