I was trying to process everything that had happened the past week. First Sol wakes up, we leave the Southern Territory, the thing threatens the Queen, one of Cree’s best friends finds out she can talk to her, we learn Queen Bree is pregnant, and then she has to leave because of a vision she had. And Romeo found his mate, who happens to be the headmistress of Vieux Carré. I shook my head.
It’s been almost two months since I’ve seen Cree, but thanks to Dulce, I have been able to talk to her. It breaks my heart to know how scared she is and I can’t comfort her. She kept apologizing for leaving that evening. I didn’t want her to think it was her fault she was abducted. All of my attempts to reassure her that I wanted to be with her did not convince her. She cried a lot.
