I was up with the sun. Gabrielle was in the dining room with Ekiya while I cooked breakfast. Dulce made it downstairs first.
“Good morning, Bree.” She spoke in a sing song voice.
“Good morning, Dulce.”
Cree and Alexander decided to stay at his house, so it was just me, Dulce, John, and Trudy. I began setting the table. Gabrielle was making spit bubbles as I sat a plate in front of Ekiya.
“Thank you, Queen. I could’ve eaten something later. You don’t have to go to the trouble.”
“It’s not a problem at all, Ekiya.” I reached for Gabby so she could eat her breakfast. She handed her to me and smiled. Dulce was immediately in my face reaching for my daughter.
“Hi, my sweet girl.” It made me chuckle that my Gabby was giving everyone baby fever.
