Goddamn night felt like the forest itself wanted me dead. Lila balanced on that ravine edge, hair whipping wild, eyes burning red like fresh blood. Those whispers? Weren't voices. Were her veins screaming for murder.
"Lila... kill them all... rip Damian's lying throat..." Not normal whispers—these clawed inside her skull. Ever since she crawled from that Void, something evil chewed her from inside. Power enough to smash mountains, pain like battery acid in her guts.
That bastard Damian's rejection speech kept replaying: "You're trash. Blood poison." But now? Whispers said different. Her blood was gonna paint the pack red.
Crunch—footsteps. She spun, claws flashing. Ryder—her one friend—shaking like a leaf. "Lila! Where you been? Damian wants you dead meat!"
She laughed, ugly and mean. "Dead? I'll drink him dry first. Ryder, you hear it? They call my blood cursed? Nah, it's their f*****g apocalypse."
Earth shook—hard. Ravine growled like hell waking up. Her blood screamed: "Queen... wake the blood... tear their f*****g flesh..."
Lila jumped. Bones jarred on impact but she laughed harder. Cave ahead, roots like dead fingers. Inside, walls painted with old blood—black wolves under bleeding moon. "Cursed blood eats kings."
Touched the wolf statue. Black light swallowed her.
Vision: kid Lila watching mom torn apart by Damian's claws. Blood in her mouth. "This blood ends!" he spat.
Lila screamed—full beast mode. Burst out running. "Saw it all!" she snarled at Ryder. "Damian killed mom to hide his secret. Now my blood eats him alive."
Howls closing. Lila grinned, pure evil. "m******e time, Ryder."
