A NEW DAWN

Help!!!

I'm Arual. I'm in the last year of medical university. Today was supposed to be a normal day, but it wasn't.

It was my day to the hospital. As always i stayed after my leading doctor until the lunch break. On the lunch break all the rookies gathered at the hospital cafeteria.

We were 16 students, of which 4 were azzurians. They were staying alone in their group away from us and we were staying away from them.

- So guys, what are you going to do this weekend?

- Nothing, sleep a lot as always.

- I'm working part-time as a waiteral at this new restaurant in the city center .

- I'm cooking some desserts-i said proudly,as it was something of great importance.

Everyone laughed.

But that vanished and turned into screams as an explosion was heard and the ground started to tremble. The hospital was colliding. It had been attacked. I panicked as everybody there. My heart was beating like crazy. Without even knowing it i was running toward to entrance of the hospital. Everything was so blured and so frantic i think i wasn't even breathing.

People were running from every direction, while the building kept falling apart

I was almost at the entrance when at the blink of an eye i found myself in the ground. A piece of wall had fallen and my leg was stuck under it.

- Help!!! Somebody , please help me!- i stareted screaming and crying.

But no one was coming back for me.

I lost every hope and stoped asking for help. Hopeless i was seeing people getting out , while the entrance was to be blocked. At the very last moment my eyes caught the crystal clear blu eyes of an azzurian...

He had seen me too. As he ran inside the hospital the entrance got blocked.

- C'mon! We have to get out of here- he said to me.

- i..ii can' t move! My leg...

I didn't see how he managed to remove the piece of wall from my leg. He came to me and help me rise up. I still couldn't walk on my own, so he had to hold me from my shoulders.

The hospital was still under attack and there was no way out that we knew.

We were in front of the stairs. they were still holding.

-We gotta go downstairs or we'll get hit by the bombs!-he said and without waiting an answer we went to the basement of the hospital.

We entered to the first room we saw. Its floor was full of medical supplies fallen from the shelves.

we sat on the floor in the corner of the room , next to each-other.

And here i am in a dark room, with little oxygen , with an azzurian. Something is making us keep our heads down.

-Damn it! My leg...

- Your leg needs medical attention. Let me see what i can do...

He left the room.

The floor is still trembling. This means that attack isn't over yet. My leg hurts so much...

-Damn it , i think i dropped off. I didn't notice you coming back!( He is putting a badge to my leg)

-Is it ok?

- yes it is fine. It will work.

- Take this pill. It will help you with the pain.

- Ok , thanks!

...

It's been an hour or two i guess. He is sat by my back.

- why did you come back for me?

-... i didn't come for you. You just happened to be on my way...

- on your way to what?

- None of your business!!!
