Aria’s POV  My alarm pierced through the darkness, jarring me awake from the restless sleep I'd managed to fall into, and the verification process. Of course. Because what this night needed was more complications. I reached over with my good arm to silence the alarm, wincing as the movement jostled my injured shoulder.
