"I know I heard sounds..."
The voice cut through the darkness, close enough to make my blood freeze in my veins.
"You know I told you that you need to get your brain checked. You've been hearing strange things around here lately. This is the third time you've raised a false alarm." The irritation in the second voice was sharp, cutting.
"Well, this wasn't false. This was like a crash or something. I think two cars collided."
