After getting the kids settled, I finally heard back from Syd. She and Colton had plans so they couldn't babysit and Mama had plans with Bernard so my Plan C was Penni. Penni was a big kid herself and loved babysitting, I just never liked asking. I never wanted her to feel like I was taking advantage or being a burden. Today I was putting that aside.
I picked up my phone and sent her a text.
D: Hey Pen, need a favor
P: What's up? And no you can't have my gorgeous dimpled babies, but anything else is fair game.
D: HAHAHA shut up crazy! Are you free Friday?
P: For you or the munchkins?
D: Does it matter?
P: It absolutely does. For you...no, kids…yes!
D: Gee, Thanks Pen, I see where the love is
P: Lol yup. What time you need me?
D: Let me check and get back to yo
