I was just finishing up with a cute little Shorkie when my phone buzzed. I looked at the screen and grinned.
Darb: Hey you...what time is dinner on Friday?
Dan: They are set to arrive at 6. Normally we eat and drink, then play and drink some more lol
Darb: Alright, sounds fun! What should I bring?
Dan: Just yourself...beautiful
Darb: *blush emoji*
Dan: lol
Darb: Guess I'll let you get back to work, talk to you later
Dan: I hope so ;)
I put the phone back in my pocket and felt my face straining from smiling so big.

I couldn't wait to see what my friends thought about her.
As I was walking down the hall back to my office to fill out some paperwork, I walked past Cindy one of the vet techs and she looked at me funny.
"What?"
"You, you're smiling."
