Chapter 33 DARBY The next morning I woke up, well, I'm not sure if I ever truly went to sleep, starving. "Want some coffee?" I heard him say behind me. Somehow, through the course of the night, we had ended up on a pulled out sofa bed. "I would love some." "Okay, I'll be right back." "No, it's okay. Tell me where it all is and I'll get it." After getting the layout of the kitchen cupboards and their contents, I threw on the first shirt I could grab and was off to make some extra strong coffee and see what I could scrounge together for a quick breakfast. I was in my own world, playing the events of last night in my head on repeat. I had already set up the coffee pot and was browsing through the fridge trying to find the eggs, so I didn't even notice that I wasn't alone in the kitch
