I tried for several weeks to get her to listen to me. For all of her amazing qualities, that woman was stubborn as hell. I tried to call. I tried to text. I showed up at her job and her house, and nothing. She was having none of it.
I even attempted to plead my case to her brother. He believed me, even felt bad for me, but said that once his sister had her mind made up, there was no changing it.
"She's as bull-headed as she is beautiful, is what you're saying?" I said to Colton.
"Exactly my friend. I will try but I already know the end result. Just give her some time. She will come around."
So that's what I did, I tried to give her time. It was killing me inside.
