Chapter 15

“You look gorgeous,” I said as I helped her into the car.
She blushed.
“This old thing?” She smiled and my groin tightened.
I walked around the back of the car so I could get a peek at her without her realizing. She was spectacular.
“I know I mentioned coffee yesterday, but are you open to change?” I asked as I started the car.
“Sure, what did you have in mind?”
“Well, there’s a great new tea spot called TeaLeafs that I keep hearing about. I thought we could check it out.”
“Okay, sounds good to me,” she chirped.
For most of the car ride over I could tell she was just as nervous as I was. She was fidgeting with the seat belt, wringing her hands and staring out of the window. I felt a bit of relief at the realization that she was just as nervous as I was.
