After we left the vet, I couldn’t stop thinking about sexy Dr. Daniel.
When we got home the kids, two-legged and four-legged, spent most of the afternoon in the backyard playing. They were really adorable with her and Chelsea had been a big help. It had only been a few days, so I was hoping that she would still be just as helpful once the newness of the puppy wore off.
Nighttime was the tricky part, because both kids argued over who would get to sleep with the puppy. We tried a schedule for the first two nights, but they still argued. We agreed to let Zoey pick who she wanted to sleep with each night. Usually that meant they all fell asleep in one room. It was summer so I wasn’t stressing it.
