"Do you think we should do something about it?" Luca inquired, his voice low as we sat on the bench. Nearby, the football team was deep in their game. In our friend group, only Luca, Jax, and I were true fans of football; you could never see Lucy and Eliza in this setting.
"Eliza mentioned she could handle it, but how do you think she would feel if she found out we tried to make Chase leave her alone?" I retorted sharply.
