He hadn’t expected a celebration upon their arrival, but was surprised when they ushered him not up into the grand spired tower of the Sepulchre, but into a small sitting room, that smelled as if it belonged to the stable hand. He tried to tell himself this wasn't a sign of disrespect, or a manifestation of the longtime enmity between the Reliquary and the Sepulchre. He didn’t really understand it, anyway.
