They all walked inside. Erebus has just stepped inside when he caught the most wonderful smell and turned his head back and forth to try to figure out what it was. His eyes suddenly locked on to Jade who was turned looking at the coffee pots and he whispered Mate…

Darrel, Fiona and Dane turned and stared.Then they glanced back and forth between Erebus and Jade in shock, wonder and a variety of emotions flashed over their faces.

Erebus was In pure shock. He wasn’t sure when he would meet his mate but he sure didn’t expect her to be working in Darrel and Melonie's diner plus be the rescuer of his sister. s**t he thought she might already dislike him since he basically terrified his sister into running away

Darrel , Fiona and Dane quickly shoved the shocked young alpha back outside before Jade turned around.

She’s your mate?! Whisper yelled Darrel at Erebus

Good luck with that! Said Darrel

Whats that supposed to mean Darrel ?!You think my son aint good enough for her or something?! Said Alpha Dane

You may be my long time friend but you are pushing it!

Scowled Dane at Darrel fiercely

Fiona looked at all three and shook her head.

Honey im sure Darrel didn’t mean it that way said Fiona calmly

What roared Alpha Dane

Just then the doors of the diner chimed as they opened and Jade and Daphne peeked out together

Daphne hollered Daddy Mommy Erebus and ran to her family

Jade smiled beautifully and everyone but Daphne was entranced suddenly by her bewitching beautiful smile as she watched Daphne run to her family with joy

Everything alright Darrel? Asked Jade with an uneasy look at Dane

Dane suddenly felt ashamed of his behavior towards his friend

Yeah jade. Thanks for checking everything great. Actually let me introduce you to Daphnes parents and brother. I was just telling them how glad I was that you of all people found daphne

Daphne jumped out of Fiona's arms and suddenly ran back to jade tugging her forward excited to introduce her new beautiful friend .

Mommy Daddy Erebus this is Jade!!! Isn’t she beautiful ? I told you!!!! Jade is my favoritist ! She had uncle Darrel give me free breakfast and everything!!! Plus She gave me snacks and look even cleaned my dress and shoes!

Everyone chuckled at Daphne

Erebus said I thought I was your favorite Daphne?" By the way, I'm sorry I got upset with you.

No! not no more Jade is the bestest best bestest!!!! And I forgive you . Jade said you probably didn’t mean it and that I should have run to mommy instead od running out but Jade took care of me so im so happy I met her! Said Daphne

Dane and Fiona chuckled at their daughter.

So yall wanna come eat ? its on the house in celebration since Daphne is safe and sound. Said Darrel

Yes that'd be great. said the family as they smiled.

They reunited as a family and felt blessed that all was well.

Everybody headed back inside

Jade got everyone something to drink while Darrel cooked up some more food.

Erebus couldn’t take his eyes off Jade. She was stunning, and it felt like everyone was entranced with her presence, not just him. It was rather amazing really.
