[—Vaughn]
“Good morning babe.”
Vaughn was roused from his sleep by the sound of his fiancée’s voice, which was immediately followed by puckered lips planting kisses on his cheeks. He refuses to pry his eyes open and lets himself linger for about five minutes more. Wanting to drag himself back into his dreams.
It has been a week since he strayed into that bar and saw that woman, and ever since then, not a day had passed her face leave his mind. He tried, many times, but still, he ended up picturing her sweet heavenly smile haunting his brain.
Groaning, he turns to his side, slinking his arms around the slender woman’s waist, imagining that it was that woman. In one swift motion, hauled her into the bed with him, twisting until he was on top and pinned her underneath, returning the kisses with a sloppy one.
“Vaughn stopped it!” A shrilly voice pierced his ears, too different from the angelic voice that was seemingly embedded in his head. Immediately chasing the ghost of drowsiness out of his system.
“I just did my makeup!” Vaughn’s eyes instantly fly open, brows furrowed as he stared down at a different woman’s face. His fiancée’s face.
“You’re going already?” Irritation hinted in his voice as he removed himself on top of her and sit right on the corner of the bed. He darted a quick glance to his side table, gazing at his digital clock, and found out that it was already six in the morning.
Ah, he overslept again for about ten minutes.
He felt the mattress move, but he didn't pay heed to his fiancée. Instead, he stood up and turned his attention to the big glass window pane, which provided him a full panoramic view of the towering skyscrapers across his penthouse. The sky was bright and cloudless despite the fact that the sun had not yet risen, which portended a new chaotic day that awaits him.
He sighs, shifting his eyes to the reflection of a woman creeping behind him. The fiery hue of her red lipstick stood out vividly as the morning light casts over her face. She was already dressed in her casual pearl white suit, ready for the interview and certainly to impress the dozen paparazzi waiting outside his building.
He frowned at the thought. She’s a very conscious woman when it comes to her appearance when in public. Narcissist as he considered her, but she’s without a doubt a very hot woman. But not as hot and sexy as the one he saw at the bar. He didn’t even catch her name, but lavender seems to have suited her better. She was a tease without even knowing it. Flashing him a glimpse of her brassier, tempting him, and the sight of it made him almost snap on his restrain.
“Don’t be upset now, love. You know, I had an appointment with the organizers. Interview to attend, and things to settle before the big day, right?” She slips her hands underneath his arms, her smooth palm traveling forward into the hard plane of his torso.
Vaughn didn’t have much choice but to let the woman hug him from behind. He wasn’t upset though, but something is indeed bothering him inside. He just couldn’t point out why.
Was it because of ‘her?’
It’s impossible though. He had only seen her once, and it’s unlikely he’s going to see her again.
This, right now, should be perfect.
He should be getting used to this. The intimacy with his fiancé’s starting to show. After six years of being engaged, he should feel something towards her, especially now that their wedding day is fast approaching.
He and Eloise had only been engaged because of their family ties. Both come from influential families, the Schofields and the Howells.
Eloise was the highest paid model in today's generation, and he the CEO of a multi-billion media company. They both have an image to protect, and an empire to expand.
Love was out of the question as it is unessential to their bindings. Mutual understanding of things is what matters.
On the other hand, s*x is great, though.
That, he couldn’t complain about.
A nasty smirk appeared on his face as he captured her wandering hands. Vaugh turned around, his turquoise gaze bore into those lovely shades of chocolate. His c**k stirred into life as his stare drifted down to her heart-shaped, flaming red velvety lips.
“I know that look, Mr. Schofield,” Eloise’s perfectly smoky-shadowed eyes squint, immediately reading what’s going on through his mind as Vaughn’s grin widens.
“Someone is seeking your attention, babe.” He brought down her hand into the obvious intumesce in front of him, marking the evident arousal. He lowered his head to her neck, nuzzling at the crook, and slid his tongue over the sensitive skin under her earlobe.
Vaugh hopes that he could erase the strange woman’s face from his head by making out with his fiance, but soon as he close his eyes, all that he could imagine was her.
Eloise instantly sucked up a sharp breath and bleated. “Vaughn!” Though it wasn’t out of protest, rather her hand started rubbing his erection. “I have my lipstick on.”
“Paint him red, then.” He moaned, trailing kisses down to her collar, wanting to remind himself of what he already has at the moment, making the most out of it and indulging his fantasy.
This could work just fine. He thought. He could make this perfect. It was just a marriage anyways.
“Ugh, I’m going to be late for this.” Eloise continued to stroke him despite her verbal complaint. Her fingers found the waistband of his boxers and slip her hand inside, curling around the length of him.
“You know they wouldn’t mind. They are afraid of me.” Vaughn leaned away from her neck, biting his lips to suppress the moan tearing inside his chest. However, it was already too late to contain it as the beast in need demanded what he wants.
That woman.
“Kneel, Eloise. Now. Blow it.”
