The dinner had ended on a sad note and Luke was currently driving me home. There was an awkward silence in the car and I bit my lip nervously. I should never have asked about my mom. That did me more bad than good. Now at least, I can stop worrying about her and live my own life since she was doing good. Well, at least it erased one worry of mine.
