Chapter One

2433 Words
“Colton, I can’t wait to see you tonight. Maybe we can watch a movie instead of playing video games? Or if not, we can do whatever you want to do. I don’t care. I just want to see you. And maybe get my hands on you a little. See you tonight.”  Colton grinned as his eyes scanned the message that had popped into his inbox while he was in the shower. Tonight was his weekly hangout session with Lucas. No matter what his schedule looked like, he always left a slot open for his little gamer boy. Yes, it was easy money, but truth be told he liked spending a few hours with him every week. He tossed his phone on the bed and finished drying off, then got dressed in the clothes he had set out for himself earlier. He’d chosen a dark pair of jeans and a tight t-shirt that showed the curves of his muscles through the material. A few weeks ago he would have made an excuse about the shirt, he’d say he was wearing it because it was light and kept him cool in the warm basement. But the truth about it was that he was wearing it because Lucas liked it. Not the way it looked, but because the shirt gave him easy access to his body while they were gaming. Colton didn’t mind when Lucas touched him. He was used to being felt up and almost mauled by Mason, so Lucas’ hesitant hands exploring his body felt soft and gentle in comparison. Spending time with him was just like a night in with Mason, so it was safe to say that he enjoyed the time he spent with Lucas playing games, eating pizza, and hanging out. To him, it really wasn’t work. It had been a month since Colton started working for Casual Companions and it had been a stiff learning curve. He’d made a few mistakes here and there, but each error had taught him a little more about the business and how it worked. Luckily, he hadn't f****d up too badly. The important thing was that he was seeing how things worked, and it only made him better at making money. Gone were the days when he had to worry about how he would pay his bills, his rent, or anything else he might need. He made more than enough now that he had stopped working at Dave's Gym so he could focus on doing this full time. He was appreciative to Dave for giving him a job when he needed it, but he definitely didn't need the extra money now. “You going to eat before you go?” Mason yelled from the other room. Colton slipped his sneakers on, then took one last look at himself in the mirror as he called out to his roommate. “Nah, I’m seeing Lucas tonight so he’ll order pizza or Chinese. Either way, I’ll eat with him.” Mason listened for Colton’s answer, only catching the words “pizza” and “Chinese.” He made a face at the suggestions and pulled open the fridge, bending over to take a peek inside at what was available. “I can make some pasta or something. Or we still have a few fillets of the fish I made yesterday. You liked those.” Colton chuckled to himself as he made his way to the kitchen, grinning at the view Mason was giving him of his tight little ass. “I said I’ll eat with Lucas tonight. You don’t have to make anything for me.” Colton stepped forward until he was lightly pressed up against Mason’s ass, letting him feel the bulge in his pants. “Have I ever told you how sexy you are when you’re cooking?” Mason closed his eyes and sucked in a deep breath as he held onto the sides of the fridge, immediately backing himself up against Colton, wanting so badly to rub all over him like a w***e fiending for his c**k. “You only think I’m sexy because you’re getting fed.” “True," Colton said with a chuckle as he backed away from his roommate, then leaned back against the far wall as he watched him. Mason grumbled and hid a pout as he straightened up, pressing his forehead against the freezer door as he tried to regain his composure. That one little brush against Colton's c**k had been enough to make him want to come in his pants. He wanted Colton to f**k him so badly. It had always been hard to contain his attraction to his best friend, but as of late it seemed as if he went out of his way to do things to turn him on. "Tease," he grumped as he took a deep breath. “You like it.” Colton grinned, then stepped forward again and placed a kiss on Mason's shoulder. “I'm not kidding, though. You're sexy when you cook.” “Yeah?” Mason smiled and pushed away from the fridge, letting the door close behind him as he faced his friend. “Next time I cook dinner for you I’ll feed it to you. That will be super sexy.” “Totally sexy. Especially if you were feeding me steak with a beer chaser.” The two of them laughed and as Mason returned his attention to his forage for food, Colton sat down at the table and pulled his laptop toward him. He opened it and logged into the Casual Companions site, looking through a few emails and responding to several job requests. Now that he was more familiar with his job, Colton felt more comfortable corresponding with potential clients. He took the time to talk to everyone who sent him a request whether he accepted or not. The name of the game was marketing, so he wanted to make sure he presented himself in a way that would make people want to work with him. That way if he were ever to accept a request from them in the future, they would know him as a nice guy and not the d**k who ignored them the first time around. Even though he was still straight as an arrow, the whole pretending to be gay and dating men wasn’t really an issue for him anymore. Then again, getting reamed in the ass by Daddy’s huge horse c**k made the vanilla dates a breeze. He didn’t mind light flirting, holding hands, touching, or even kissing, especially if it was with his regulars. With anyone new, he just pretended they were Mason and ran with it. It was funny how imagining himself on a date with Mason calmed him down when he was a little anxious. Now that he was getting his legs under him, he had found himself a few good regulars. He hung out with Lucas a few days a week, mostly gaming and talking about whatever came up. They would drink and eat pizza, do some light flirting, and maybe kiss at the end of the date. Nothing he couldn’t handle. He liked Lucas as a person and found he was growing on him a little more each time they were together. Then there was Lawrence. They’d meet two times a week for a late dinner. He was a workaholic lawyer who liked to take him out to fancy dinners or meet him for drinks after a long day. Even though he liked Lawrence, he was always a little uneasy about accepting his requests because he knew with a certainty he would ask him to come home with him and spend the night. Lawrence knew he had lied to him a few times to get out of it, but finally he felt as if he had to come clean. Well, as clean as he could get. He had just told him he wasn’t ready for that type of request and if he ever was ready, he would make sure he was the first to know. He never planned on being ready, but Lawrence didn’t know that. Finally, there was Blaine. He had met him two weeks ago, but he had already gone out with him four times. Blaine wasn’t much of a conversationalist and just wanted to hang out and watch movies, which he didn’t mind doing at all. The job didn’t pay a lot, but it killed a few hours of time on Wednesday and Friday nights. Plus, Blaine insisted on watching all the new movies on opening weekend. That was a MAJOR perk for him. The only time he turned him down was when Mason wanted to watch something with him. Then there were the people he’d put on his blacklist. He wasn’t trying to seem like he was actively avoiding or ignoring their requests and messages, but he was. Daddy and Kitten were at the top of that list. He never wanted to see those two again. Besides, now that he wasn’t pressed for money he didn’t have to take jobs he thought were questionable. Mason sat down at the table with his plate of food and motioned over to the glass of water he had put on the table for Colton. “At least drink something.” Colton absently picked up the glass and took a drink as he heard the familiar notification tone from his phone. His eyes focused on the mail that had just popped into his inbox and clicked on it, scanning it as he finished the rest of his water. It was from Casual Companions and it had been sent to every Fuckboy and Fuckgirl in their employ. There was a mandatory staff meeting at the office tomorrow. There were three different times offered to accommodate everyone’s schedules because of the short notice, but each person was required to attend one of them. Colton quickly checked his schedule for the next day and then accepted the invite for a time slot that would work best for him. “Are you listening to me?” “Huh?” Colton’s eyes jerked up to meet Mason’s, smiling a little when he realized he was ruffling his friend’s feathers. “Sorry, I’m really not ignoring you. There was just an important email that came through.” “Yeah?” “Yeah. There’s a staff meeting tomorrow and I have to attend. Now, what did you say?” “Nothing,” Mason said as he turned his nose up and picked at his food. Colton laughed and threw Mason a grin. “Come on, Masey. Don’t be like that. What did you say?” Mason sat there in silence, ignoring Colton as best as he could, which was difficult to do when he used that nickname. Colton laughed again and shook his head, then got up and pulled Mason’s chair away from the table. He tilted the chair back as far as it would go without tipping it over as he pressed his body against Mason’s, touching their foreheads together as he looked him in the eye. “What. Did. You. Say. Mason?” Mason laughed and tried to look away but Colton held him tightly in place. “I said that I might apply for a job there. Maybe instead of blogging or gaming on the weekends I can pick up a few dates.” Colton growled as he let Mason's chair fall back into place, clearly not liking that idea. "I don't think so," he said tensely after returning to his seat. The pout on Mason’s lips said it all. “Why? What’s wrong with me working there? I think I could make a little money.” He was right, Colton thought. Mason would make bank doing this job. He had the twink look. The one that said all the big baddies wanted to stick their d***s in him and take him for a ride on the Big c**k Express. “No,” he repeated, his lip curling up slightly. “Why not?” “Because I said so,” Colton answered sharply. “You know,” Mason said as he stood up and took his dirty dishes to the sink, “you’re starting to sound a hell of a lot like my mother.” He turned and leaned back against the counter, crossing his arms over his chest as he watched Colton before throwing his final words at him. “Or my boyfriend.” Colton glanced over at him but refrained from saying anything. Normally he’d have a comeback ready, but this time he was s**t out of luck. He didn’t want Mason working there. That was the only reason he needed. It didn’t matter that he didn’t know why. Maybe it was because he knew he’d do well and he didn’t want anyone f*****g him. He didn’t want him used for s*x like he was some w***e who walked the streets. It was all right for him, but for Mason... no. “Are you listening to me?” Mason half shouted to get his attention. “Not anymore. Just drop it because you’re not working there.” “Why?” Mason demanded. “I’m done with this discussion.” Colton shut his laptop and got up from the table. “But what if-” “No.” He cut Mason off before he could start in again. “I said I’m done.” Colton grabbed his bag and threw it over his shoulder. “I’ll be back tonight sometime. Wait up for me. I want to see you before you go to bed.” Mason was about to say something but refrained. He just stood there and watched as Colton walked out and shut the door behind him. What was his problem? Why wouldn’t he want him to work at Casual Companions? He growled a little and turned back to the sink. Colton had acted so odd lately. He treated him like they were in a relationship but Mason knew from experience they weren’t. What did he want from him, he asked himself as he washed the dishes. As Colton walked toward the subway, he pushed all thoughts of Mason out of his mind. He didn’t have answers for any of the questions swarming around in his head so he ignored them completely. It wasn’t a good time to examine his friendship with Mason. Or whatever it had turned into. Colton boarded the train and found a seat, turning his thoughts to the meeting Barrick was having tomorrow. He wasn’t sure what it was all about and the curiosity was killing him. This could be a normal thing and he just hadn’t been around long enough to be at any other meetings. Who knew? Maybe he’d text Aiden later and ask if he knew anything about it. Aiden always had a lot to say. Especially about Barrick Covington, the owner of the company. He didn’t mind the guy. All he knew was that Barrick could get a little fussy about how things were done. He could be a d**k, but Colton could understand why he was like that. If Casual Companions was his business, he’d want it run the way he wanted. Well, either way he’d find out tomorrow at three. Until then, he would continue making money and try to forget his latest discussion with Mason.
