Her Unexpected Mates

Chapter 8

Isabella’s POV

 It’s Monday again, I’m not really a fan of Mondays but I like going to school. It is the start of October my favorite month to scare the hell out of people. I made Phoebe to come to school early so we can set up some pranks, but it was really just me because Phoebe was having morning sickness. Phoebe went to the doctor and found out she was in fact pregnant and was farther along than she though, she is almost four weeks now.

 I am trying to rig Mr. K’s door so that when he opens it a fake spider falls in his face. I also put shock pressure button on the girl’s seat that is a total b***h. Last week she spread a rumor about me being a slut because I have two mates and saying that they weren’t even my mates and I was just trying to get attention from Principle Wyatt.

 I wanted to throw up at the idea of Mr. Wyatt and me, I mean he’s always been there when I had a problem with my magic but he’s like a second dad to me. I finished Mr. K’s room, so me and Phoebe went to prank Mr. Wyatt’s office, he’s not off limits from my pranks. I start to wrap all of his office stuff in bubble wrap and clear duct tape, and boy is he going to be mad about the rainbow confetti in all of his desk draws.

 I go to sit next to Phoebe who is sitting on the floor still pucking her guts out. I rummage around my bag to find what I am looking for.

“Here, Phoebes, try these it should help.” I tell her.

“Ginger crackers?” She asks.

“The ginger help prevent nausea and vomiting. I learned it when I had to take those meds, I got from the witch to control my magic. Eat, it really help.”

 She leans on me as she eats the ginger crackers and I just waited. School was about to start so we chose to prank one more person. I went to my car to get the shaving cream as Phoebe got all of Ace’s things out of his locker into hers. I set down the duffle bag, I close the locker and shack two cans of shaving cream. Phoebe came back and I handed her a can, we both started to fill up Ace’s locker.

 I took Phoebe back to the pack house so she could go to school with Ace. I drove back to school to and parked in my normal spot. I sat on the hood of my car writing in my notebook, I watch students arrive as I waited for Jase and Leo. I hear Jase’s truck pull up next to my car, his truck makes my car look tiny. Jase and Leo both jumped out of the truck. I go back to writing when I feel two arms wrap around me and pull me off of the hood of my car.

“Hey!” I shout.

“Morning, Izzy.” Jase says giving me a kiss on the cheek and releasing me.

  When Jase lets go of me and Leo pulls me into a hug. I lean into Leo’s hug; from the corner of my eye I see Ace and Phoebe walk into the building. I pull away from Leo, I grab my book bag and one of Leo’s and Jase’s hands.

“Come on, you two have to see this.” I say pulling them to the building.

 We stand far enough away so we can see, and I can run when Ace comes after me.

“What are we waiting for?” Jase questions.

“Shh! Just wait.” I say holding back my laughter.

 We watch as Ace starts to undo the lock and open the locker. The second Ace opens white shaving cream pours out of his locker. His face goes from confused to shocked to mad, I laugh at Ace’s face but also at the face that Leo and Jase made. I see Ace turn in my direction, seconds later a girl like scream comes from down the hall from Mr. K’s room.

“ISABELLA!!” Ace yells and I know I’m I trouble.

  I take off running as Ace runs after me, I run around in the outside lunch area around trees and tables avoiding my very angry twin. The warring bell for first hour goes off and Ace tells me that I can’t run forever. I love messing with my brother it’s always out of love but it’s just funny. Before first hour even starts, I got called to the office, my punishment is that I have to stay after school for detention and Mr. Wyatt will be emailing my dad about it. I know my dad won’t do anything about it because he’s the one that tough me to do all kind of harmless pranks, but he might ground me.

 I spent more of first hour messing with Jase by throwing paper balls at him. He always throw them back at me but not as hard as a werewolf would because he didn’t want to hurt me. The teacher had to get on to us for it because I missed Jase and almost hit the teacher, it just hit the white bored. After that I spent most of my time with Leo doing just about the same thing kind of. We were doing an experiment with fire so while he was watching the fire, I put tiny balls of paper in between every page in his notebook. He caught me, I was expecting him to take it away from me, but he just shock his head and kissed me on the cheek.

 Lunch finally came around; I was hungry for a cheeseburger and fries. Ace and Pheebs wanted to eat outside and I was fine with that. I went to my car and got a blanket out of the trunk and laid it out on the grass. I told Leo that I got after school detention, he said he wait for me because Jase had football practice till 6 and I would be out by 3. We ate lunch and went on with our day.

 I never thought detention could get this boring, I watch the second hand go around and around and around the clock until I was free. I grab my bag and basically run out the door. I find Leo sitting on the hood of my car with a textbook in his lap and the sun shining off his sandy blonde hair.

“You look sexy.” I say out loud.

Leo looks up at me and smiled, “Really?”

“I said that out loud didn’t I.” I say covering my face.

 I fell Leo’s hands wrap around my wrist gently as he pulled my hands from my face. I watch his eyes drift from mine to my lips and back, he moves closer and presses his lips on mine. I move my lips with Leo’s, I had to pull away from his lips for air. I was basically gasping for air as he did the same, my head felt like it was in a fog.

“Let’s get to my house and get on with this baking.” Leo says.

 I shake my head clearing the fog and get on the rode to his house. I’ve been in the Wyatt’s pack house before but that was years ago I was may be four at that time. Leo walked me to the kitchen, and it is huge, it is weird seeing such a big kitchen empty and not full of hungry wolves. Leo gives me an apron to wear so I don’t get food all over my clothes. I took off my over shirt to reveal the tank top I was wearing. I put on the apron and tie my hair back; I look over to see Leo watching me.

“What?” I ask.

“Uh… nothing, lets get started.” He says.

 Leo and I made the first batch of regular cupcakes together so he could show me how to use the mixer and where to find things I may need. Leo wanted to make the cupcakes without sugar, so I the cupcakes without baking soda. I put all the dry ingredients into a mixing bowl to mix with the mixer. I placed the bowl perfectly; I turn the nob to turn it on, but I turned it on too high. All the ingredients flies out, I look over at Leo, who now is covered in flour. I cover my mouth with my hands trying to hold back the laughter from escaping, I couldn’t help but laugh.

“Really?” He says.

 He grabs a handful of flour and throws it at me. I scream running around the island throwing flour back at him as he throws powder sugar at me. He runs around the island trying to catch me, he grabs my waist and pulls me into him. I laugh as he spins us around, he sets me back in my feet and turns me around to face him.

 His eyes show a spark of joy and happiness, it makes him smile. I couldn’t help myself from looking down at his lips, I stand on my tippy toes and press my lips to his. He is still for a moment but quickly kisses me back. I feel his hand move lower, I want to stop them but a second later he’s picked me put and sat me on the island. I feel his tongue on my lips, I open my lips allowing his tongue to explore my mouth as my tongue does the same.

“Um…” A voice says.

 We pull apart to see a man standing in the kitchen doorway, I hide my face in Leo’s chest. I could feel Leo’s chest rumble with laughter.

“Hey, Logan. What’s up?” Leo asks.

“Just wanted to get a water.” He walked to the fridge and got a water. “who’s that?”

“Oh, this is Isabella Sin, she is mine and Jason’s mate. Isabella this is Logan, he’s the future third of this pack.” Leo tell us.

 I look at Logan, he’s very tall and looks strong.

I hold out my hand to him, and he takes it. “Nice to meet you, most people just call me Izzy if you don’t want to say Isabella all the time.”

“Cool, it was nice to meet you too, Izzy.” Logan says and walks out the kitchen.

 I turn back to Leo and punch him I the arm, I know it won’t hurt him.

“Ugh, that was embarrassing. I guess I should go home to take a shower.” I say.

“You can just take a shower; we’ll clean up the mess and I’ll finishes the last of the cupcakes while you shower.” Leo suggest.

“That sounds good to me.”

 We clean up the kitchen and Leo takes me upstairs to his room. His room is just like him there’s a bookshelf filled with books, a perfectly made bed, a work desk, and a tv across from the bed. He shows me where the bathroom is and gives me towel and extra clothes. He told me that they always have extra clothes just incase. I get into the bathroom and I shake out my hair making as much as the flour come out before getting into the shower.

 I washed my body and then my hair, the water had turned the flour into mush that I had to pick out of my hair. I did conditioner before shampoo because the conditioner will make getting the flour out of my hair. I got out of the shower, drier of, and started to put on the clothes Leo got for me. He picked a pair of black tights and a baggy sweatshirt that smells like him. I walk back into his room sitting on the bed.

“I’m going to take a shower, the remote to the tv is on the bed watch what ever you want.” Leo tells me.

 Leo gets himself some clothes and leaves to take a shower, I lay down on the bed. I turn on the tv and play some movie. Leo comes in after showering, he comes and lay on the bed. I look over at him, he is shirtless, I couldn’t help my eyes from wondering down his chest to his muscles. I turn on my side facing him, I move closer and lay my head on his chest. Thud, thud, thud I listen to the sound of his heart beating.

“Your heartbeat is soothing.” I say slowly falling asleep.

Jason’s POV

 I come home after practice and immediately jump into the shower. I get out and walk through the bathroom to the door that leads to Leo’s room. I open the door to see Leo and Isabella asleep, I shake Leo’s shoulder to wake him. He opens his eyes and looks at me.

“What’s up bro?” Leo asks yawning.

“Nothing just got home about 15 minutes ago.” I say.

“Ok, well come lay down, there’s about 20 minutes left of the movie”

“Sure.”

 I walk to the other side of the bed and lay down. Isabella wakes up a little and whispers my name. Leo and I watch the rest of the movie, I played with Isabella’s hair as she slept. I stop playing with Isabella’s hair when I hear her heart rate speeds up to fast for her to be asleep. She starts to move around and whimper. She starts to say something but it’s just a mumble, I reach over to Leo and tap him. He looks at me and I point to Isabella.

 Her mumbling gets louder, “No, don’t take me. I don’t want to go. Why are you doing this to me? Please! Don’t hurt them, take me not them. NOOOO!”

 She screams and jolts up, looking around.

“Isabella what’s wrong?” I ask.

 She looks around, she gets up off of the bed and looks at us. She turns around and starts running. I look over at Leo, we both jump up and run after her. We follow her out of the pack house into the woods, she ran and ran. She swerved pass trees, jumped over tree roots, and through the leaves. She ran into the middle of an open field and fell to her knees. Leo and I both try to run to her from the tree line, but Isabella lets out a defining scream. A wave of white light spreads out from her, the wave hit Leo and me knocking us back. I could feel her power, her strength, and her pain.
