Her Unexpected Mates

Chapter 4

Leo’s POV

 After Isabella ran away as if something was on fire Mark came out from behind the trees. He asked if everything was ok, we told him everything was fine and me and Jason was out for a walk. Jason wanted to follower her, but I stopped him by telling him that we’ll see her tomorrow at school and to just let her go for now.

 Isabella amazes me, she have a powerful aura around her. She was able to shift and be waring clothes. It is impossible to do, I’ve only heard of it in legends. She is a puzzle I wish to solve, but to solve it is a mystery. I lay in bed trying to fall asleep, but all I think of is how I wait to see her tomorrow.

 I wake up early to get ready for school, I go to walk up Jason, but he’s not there. I look around the room only to be met face to face with the floor. Jason ambush me, he loves sneaking up on me because I never expect it and he knows he’ll win. I kick Jason in the back of his leg making him fall to the floor next to me.

He laughs, “You’re learning. Let’s eat and get to school.”

“Can we have pancakes?” I ask. 

“Leo your 18, not 5, get up and let’s go.” Jason says getting off the floor.

 I laugh and get up. After breakfast we leave for school, I won this morning, so I get to drive. We made it to school, we entered at the building to see Isabella at the end of the hall with two other people. Isabella looks beautiful, she is waring skinny light blue jeans, a baggy gray sweatshirt, and black flats. She had a backpack but was holding some books in her arms.

 I wanted to go to her, but I didn’t want to anger her, so I just listened in on her conversation.

“I am not doing that. I already got a warring from the principle yesterday.” Isabella says.

 What did she do to get in trouble?

The other girl says, “Come on Izzy, I double dog dare you to.”

The guy with his arm around the other girl says, “Pheebs, you know she will do it, Izzy can’t resist a dare.”

Pheebs smiles “I know, that’s why I’m daring her.”

“Fine, Phoebe, give my books to Ethan so he can take them to first hour.” Isabella says.

 Isabella gives her books to the girl named Phoebe, she walked to the end of the hallway. She whistle catching everyone’s attention, she puts her hands in the air and everyone moves out the way. She starts to run down the hallway, she does two cartwheels, a one-handed cartwheel, and a no hand cartwheel.

 She land in front of us, she almost fell down, but Jason caught her before she could fall. She looks up and blushes making her look adorable. I have to get her to blush more she just looks so cute when she does. She stands up and looks down and rubs her hands on her jeans. She tanks Jason for saving her butt for a meeting with the floor. That made Jason and me laugh.

 A woman on the intercom says, “Isabella, please report to the main office. Isabella, please report to the main office.”

“I guess I have a very important meeting in the office.” She curtsy and start to walk away but turns around. “Jason your class is all the way down in the left hallway it’s the first door on the left. Leo your class is on the right of this hallway two doors past the water fountain.”

 She runs off to the office, I can’t help but smile at her goofiness.

Jason’s POV

 I leave my brother to got to class, my first class was language arts with Mr. K. I sat next to an empty next to the window. I knew that I was supposed to be practicing the poem that Mr. K gave me to recite next week but I couldn’t pay attention at all. I just looked out the window think of what Isabella is doing right now.

“Isabella late again I see.” Mr. K’s voice rings out.

I look up to see her standing in front of the door.

“Isabella you know my rule for being late.” Mr. K says. 

Isabella nods and walks to the front of the class and weirdly the class goes silent. Isabella states to speck.

Then came the darker sooner, came the later lower.

We were no longer a sweeter-here happy-ever-after.

We were after ever. We were farther and further.

More was the words we used for harder.

Lost was our standard-bearer.

Our gods were fallen faster, and fallen larger.

She finished the poem, took her bow and sat in the seat next to me.

 I stared at her in amazement, she recited a whole poem like it was nothing. It would have taken me a month just to remember half. I want her to like me to want to be my mate but what if I’m not good enough for her. Will she let me leave for the better or will I have to face the fact that I’m not what she needs. She slides a piece of paper on my desk, I have to open it.

Take a picture, it’ll last longer.  -Isabella.

 I laugh at her smartass note, I guess she caught me staring. I write back.

I’ll have to remember that next time.  –Jason

 I give it to her she just shakes her head and smiles. 

Isabella’s POV

  Language art class has never been more fun because of Jason, Jason looks kind of like the jock type of guy, but he is really sweet. Jason and I passed notes the whole class time. I knew that Mr. K was watching us so I wrote down something I will never say to my mate in a million years. When Mr. K picked it up and read it his face turned read from embarrassment, but what was funnier was when Jason’s eyes looked like they were going to pop out of his head when he read the note. At that point I had my hand over my mouth to stop the laughing for escaping.

 My next class was with Ace and Phoebe. I spent most of the class time throwing paper at them because of their cute cuddly affection they were doing. Next, hour was science it’s not like I hate science, science just hates me. I swear every time I take a test, I know the answer, but somehow, I keep ending up with a c or lower. I know if I don’t get this grade up my dad will kill me. I love my dad don’t get me wrong, but he can be a little too overprotective of me. I know he’s doing it out of love, but why is he always worried about me. I mean I did have a lot of mishaps when I first got my powers, but ow their uncontrol mostly.

 I do have a few power slips here and there. Like catching thing on fire, using my alpha power, and so on. I had completely spaced, but the sparks that lit up my body pulled me into focus. I see a hand on top of mine I look up to see Leo. Leo looks a lot like a nerd but with messy sand blond hair.

“Can I sit here?” Leo asks.

 I nod and move over for him to sit down. He sits down and pits his arm right next to mine, so we are barely touching. The teacher comes in and tells us that the person we are sitting next to is our new project this semester. I groan, I hate projects. I talked with Leo about what the projects should be and how bad I am at science. We agree to talk over the weekend, he gave me his number.

Class ended and I left to go to the cafeteria for lunch. Phoebe and Ethan came and sat with me but stared at Jason and Leo who were siting across from me. Ace came fist bumped Ethan, kiss Phoebe’s cheek, and comes and kisses my cheek. I hear two roars next thing I see is Ace being held to the wall by Jason and Leo. I run to them and grab both their arms.

“Let go of him you to!” I shout at them.

 They growl at me that is what pisses me off.

I use my alpha voice “I said release him.”

They were forced by my power to release my brother. My brother slides to the floor breathing hard. I grab both Jason’s and Leo’s attention by forcing them to look me in the eyes.

“I am only going to say this once, if ether one of you hurt my twin again don’t think for a second that I won’t reject you. Do you understand me?” I say.

 They both nod, Ace comes and puts his hand on my shoulder, I look a deep breathe coming back to my sense.

 “I’m sorry, Jason and Leo this is my twin brother Ace, Ace this is my mates Jason and Leo.” I say.

“WHAT?!” Ace shouts. “This is so bad, dad’s going to kill you if you don’t tell him soon that your mated to the Wyatt twins.”

My eyes go wide, “I’m in some deep s**t now.” 

 I shrug, well there’s nothing I can do about it now. I turn to Ace and hold out my hand. He drops the keys I need into my hand. I take the keys and walk to the table with the school ‘bad kids’. I set the keys in front of Chuck and walk away. Chuck calls after me I turn around and catch the keys, he throws at me. I let Chuck barrow my car so he can take some girl out, but my one rule was no bedroom stuff happens in my car.

I walk back to our table and sit down to eat my chef’s salad.

“Izzy are you coming to the bond fire tonight at the beach?” Phoebe asks.

“Yes, it’s the weekend so why not.” I shrug. 

 We talk some more at lunch Jason has football tryouts today so he’s staying after school. I said that I would drive Leo home and Leo would leave his keys with Jason. They were fine with the idea. I went on with my day after my last class I walked to Leo’s last class, when he walked out, I grabbed his arm and pulled him to me.

“Hello, Leo ready to go?” I ask

“Sure, lead the way.” He says.

 I walk him out to my car, he looks at the car then at me.

“What we travel fast or not at all. Now stop staring at my sports car and get in.” I say smiling. 

 I hit the gas, I drive like a race car driver and it drives my dad crazy, but it is fun. I turn up the music and when I got away from the other cars, I step on the gas more. I see Leo look at me like I was crazy.

” I know I drive like a race car driver, but it’s fun so let lose.” I say laughing.

 I stop the car right at the border of the pack.

“I can’t enter your pack’s land without out the permission of your dad. I’ll be here around 7:30 tonight to show you and Jason to the beach because it’s on my pack land so you need an escort.”

 He nods and gets out of my car “I’ll see you later, Isabella”

“See you later, Leo.”

 I drive off to the pack house knowing I’m going to have to talk to my dad. Thank goddess that it’s Friday.
