Offshore of Roatan Eva’s hair whipped in the wind as the Dolorosa sped along the shore, chasing after Charlie and Mel in the Aggressor. Oliver was driving, Thomas was reviewing bomb-defusing procedures, and Axel monitored the position of the Tesoro on Eva’s laptop. Eva hoped that Owens and Jose weren’t falling too far behind in the Denise 2.
Eva’s mother was no longer the only target of their mission. They now had to stop that bomb from destroying the open-ocean enclosures at Atlantis. If those CobiX were set free, they would make the invasive lionfish look like mere pests. The result would be an environmental disaster that would devastate her island. Perhaps the entire ocean.
