"Why did we always end up looking at 10 pages of stats before doing anything?" Says Inazuke
"I don't know, it's not like we don't have things to do," Says Ken
"Speaking of things to do. We should rent something to stay" Says Lisa
"At least we start with money this time," Says Ken
He says this but he didn't look at the prices on the starting area
"50 GOLD FOR A BREAD?" Shouts Inazuke looking at a shop
"We need to survive somehow," says the shopkeeper
All the prices were so much higher than in the starter area.
"If an apple is around 10 gold, and a house is made of 1000 apples that means that a house is 10000 gold," Says, Ken while thinking,
"Who the hell calculates prices with apples?" says Inazuke pissed off
"It's ain't much, but it's honest work," Says Ken
"That's probably a house like the one we had in the starting area, we have only half that amount of money tho," says Lisa
Everyone from the team looks at her and ask
"We have?"
"What do you guys thought I did with all the money from the quests? Anyway, we should buy a house,"
They went to a rental place and they bought the cheapest house that there was
"Just go South from here," Says the one from the shop
"Got it, thank you!"
"South?" Says Ken and look south, He only saw trees
"Did he confused the cardinal points?" Says Tamura looking as well at the forest
"There's one way to figure it out," Says Lisa and starts walking to the forest
They arrive at the same place they got teleported and look at one house that was almost in ruin
"You kidding right," says Ken looking at the house
"Well, I expected something much... nicer for that amount of money," Says Lisa a little bit disappointed,
"Well they said money doesn't bring happiness, but damn, I will cry in a jacuzzi," Says Ken kinda sad
"This makes me want to create a new nation even more," Says Inazuke
"If I had a penny every time Inazuke said he want to create a new nation... I will have 4 pennies ... Wich is not much ... But it's weird it happened 4 times..." Says Ken
"Don't worry. We are strong, we can make more money by defeating monsters," Says Lisa
"Definitely," Says Ken
In the next scene, we see them running away from some strong knights
"What the hell is this?" Says Ken while still running
"Shut up and fight!" Says Inaba and shots and arrow at one knight
The arrow got instantly got torn in half when it hit the armor
"Okay, running was not a bad idea" And Inaba starts running as well
While still running Ken sees Yonezu and ask him
"How is it going?"
"How does it look?" Says Inazuke angry, because he was fighting very hard just one knight
"Okay, we do the same tactic, we did with the goblins," Says, Ken
"Are you going to use your legs again?" Ask Lisa
"YES"
"To run away?" Ask again
"No, I did that already, and it isn't working,"
and thus Ken jumps and kicks the knight right in the head. He dents the knight helmet a little but Ken's leg started bleeding
"Are you ok?" Says Lisa and rushes to heal him
While Lisa was healing Ken, Yonezu was preparing his skill and slashes the knight, defeating him.
They look at the one knight defeated and smile but then they look at their inventory
"2 GOLD?"
"How much of an apple is that? Mathematician guy?" Says Inazuke looking at Ken
"Probably it's leaf..." Says Ken
"How are we not strong enough?" Says Soma
"We might have missed an important thing back in the city," Says Lisa
"How important can it be?"
"No, No, she might have a point. Ken's kick was extremely effective versus that knight, while I can probably strike harder with my blades, yet not even a scratch. It might have been a hidden rule," Says Yonezu
"Then let's go back to the city," Says Inazuke
"What about the food?" Ask Lisa
"I have some tricks in black days like this," Says Ken reaching for his pockets
He takes out a pack of instant noodles
Everyone looks at him with a questioning face
"From when do you have those there?" Says Yonezu
"About 2 weeks!" Says Ken proudly
"I am not eating that," Says Inazuke
"You have an any better idea? And also we have Lisa, she can figure something out to make them work"
"Ey, don't get me into this! I can't just take random ingredients and make something eatable with it. And also, those are instant noodles, you can't do something more with them than it shows on the package
They went to the city again and look again at the rules.
"Nothing changed, and I read them 5 times already"
"Of course nothing changed. Maybe we should go deeper into the city" Says Lisa
They approach the main part of the city but they got stopped by some sort of barrier
"An elemental wall? what the heck?" Says Inazuke
On the wall, it wrote
"Need the completion of quest: Elemental mastery"
"Elemental mastery?" Ask Ken
but then a random bystander comes to them and ask
"Want to go to the capital city huh?"
"Ah yes, too bad it's blocked for some reason"
"It's not for some reason, it's just one reason, You need to complete some quest to enter. Normal people like us have no chance to enter."
"Normal people? You mean no combat passive?"
"Ah yes! That"
Ken thinks
"Why wouldn't they let people with non-combat passive into the capital city, that makes no sense at all. They probably just want to continue their business,"
But then look at the man and ask
"Do you know from where we can get this quest?"
"I heard rumors about a campus East from here"
"Thank you, your information was really helpful," says Lisa
"Don't worry, we all help each other here"
He leaves then and Ken says
'I know what we are doing tomorrow"
